Last a long time and use your favorite conditioner!
I love this. I like being able to use my favorite conditioner and make it a purple conditioner! It works great. As long as you rinse well it leaves a nice cool blond tone with no purple/blue tint. Lasts a long time. The mixing bowl is a great added bonus. Great for other hair care solutions as well!

It ain’t blue
It’s a good toner. It takes some trial and error to figure out how many drops to add. My hair is bleached. Some places were bleached twice since I had highlights. None of my hair turned blue and I used four drops the first time and it barely did anything. That said, it’s possible the people with blue spots had more damaged hair or they were slower about putting in the product. It took me about a minute to put it all in.

up to you
this product is really frustrating me lol. three stars, because as much as i hate to admit- i actually really love this product. does it work? yes. absolutely. but, there are a LOT of negatives. first, it came broken. the dropper is glass. (however, i don’t have the time nor patience so i dumped it all out and picked out the glass). second, it was maybe half way full IF that. hardly any product. which brings me to my third statement, way way too expensive. if it was completely full, it would be worth it. or if they made it larger to fit more product + the dropper. because i literally ended up using this whole thing. it’s definitely trial and error at first because it says for bleached hair to use only 2-3 drops. i needed more, and then it was patchy (100% my fault) so i had to make more and just ended up using the whole bottle. fourth, this is NOT a chemical product. it states to wait 10 minutes for it to “develop”. there is no developing happening. it is pigment. you are essentially toning your hair using the color wheel. you are adding a tint to your hair. which is why i bought this, because i do that myself by just mixing red and blue dye with a crap ton of conditioner- but it’s really hard to get right so i figured this would save me a lot of time and prevent any mishap. do i regret buying this? no. would i buy it again? hate to say it, but probably. it is a very safe way to tone your hair. no it is not permanent. but it’s overall very safe and your best bet if you’re wanting to tone directly after bleaching. this product works, be careful not to add too much because it can and will stain your hair purple. that’s not the products fault. it works as long as you do it right. but this really needs a few changes.

Great Product - Requires a Lot
TLDR AT THE BOTTOM.Images are before and after I used the toner! I used Manic Panic Lightning 30 Volume bleach kit, and then I used this toner product to turn it white. I honestly like the results, especially for this being my first time trying to do white hair on my own. I felt a little lost. I love that there’s no single use plastic too. My only thing is, I had REALLY light hair at the top and it says one to two drops should do the trick to turn it white (with conditioner marked to 40 on the cup it comes with). I did that but I have long hair so I needed more than 40, and I actually put in 3 drops instead of 2 because I didn’t think two would be enough. It doesn’t really give a usage to length ratio for your hair (like how much for this length), so I had to guesstimate a lot of it. IMPORTANT NOTE: I didn’t even do the recommended amount of drops. My hair wasn’t turning white as much as I wanted it to, so I ended up going from 3 and after my first use, another three; to six drops. And even then it didn’t seem like enough! I ended up putting the toner directly on my hand (which is like a purple thick liquid) and spreading it around my hand before lightly placing it on the parts of my hair that hadn’t turned white yet. Because you can literally see it change the color of your hair right after you apply it! Like in seconds!! It was cool to see. But DO NOT just apply the dropper to your hair, and if you’re going to do what I did, do light amounts of the dropper at a time! If you put too much on one spot, it’ll become like a silver color instead of white (and yes, it can spot if you don’t blend it properly so you’ll have a dark spot among the lighter ones). I dye my hair a lot so I can make educated measurements. Be careful if this is your first time dying your hair - let alone with white toner. But yeah. I’m pretty sure I used up a lot of the bottle. Recommended drops werent it.TLDR: Good product and does whiten, but I had to use more than the recommended amount of drops. Even more than twice as much. And my hair was LIGHT. Not bad for my first time using a toner, but you may definitely need more.

So inconsistent
The results are always horrible and inconsistent! I’ve tried several times to love this but it is horrible. You will have patchy color. I’ve literally applied by brush, by hand and same results. I’ve tried 4 drops, 5 drops, 6 drops all the same thing. The 1st time I assumed I used too much bc it turned my ends dark purple and the rest was splotchy silver lilac. So I ended up having to bleach bath to remove it. This last time after a fresh bleach touch up I put 5 drops in the full bowl and mixed really good and applied with brush and made sure all my hair was coated. Before the 10 minutes I already realized my hair turned lilac. Ok not what was I was going for but I can do full on lilac. NO! I rinsed it out and it was huge patches that didn’t have any lilac, and huge patches that were lilac. So I mixed up another batch, same 5 drops as before and applied it and yet it still didn’t take. Literally just bleached my hair to a level 9! Ended up having to do a bleach bath to remove. Just stick with a regular toner like wella color charm bc this ain’t it. I wanted to love this so bad because it’s much healthier but it doesn’t work. What I noticed is the conditioner turns white the more manipulated which leads me to believe the color separates from the conditioner thus leading to patchy staining. I’m going back to my beloved t18.

Half the size of the other Drop-It Toners
For the same price I got a bottle that was only half the size/amount of the Drop-It Silver that I’ve bought several times before. It also did not take that much brass out of my hair. Had better luck with Drop-It Silver & Bold Uniq Purple.
