Improvement over my previous wrist-wrap gloves
I've been using wrist-wrap gloves (Harbinger classics) for 20 years, and go through about three to four pair a year. I fractured a wrist about 15 years ago, so the wrist wrap feature is very important to me. I do a heavy upper-body workout three times a week. My comments here compare these gloves against the Harbinger Classic wrist-wrap gloves.Great features:1. Wrist wrap width. 2 Inches is fantastic and a step up from the Harbinger Classics.2. Palm padding: This feels better so far and seems to be superior to what I grew used to with Harbinger Classics. Those were not bad, but these are better.3. Finger quick-release tabs and strings (note: not the thumb quick release feature mentioned in "Others" below)4. The Velcro attachments on the wrist wraps are superior to the ones currently on Harbinger Classics. In addition, they have one that binds right at the wrist, then one that is at the end of the wrap. This allows for a better adjustment experience.5. Overall Fit: I used the sizing chart and it was good for getting the right size gloves for my palms. The gloves are snug overall, like I like them, with not too much play in the palms as I curl them."Not sure" features:1. Finger length. These are longer than with the Harbinger Classics, and cover up the knuckle completely. So far I haven't seen a problem with that, but it definitely gives a different feel when you grip. Nothing rubs or binds, and I think it is just something different that I have to get used to.2. Stitching. It appears to be quality double-stitching, but I won't be able to honestly compare them until I've put 2 to 3 months on them."Others"1. The quick release leather tap on the thumbs comes up and covers the thumb pad. While it works well to help get the glove off quickly, it gets in the way when you are doing hand weights (think curls) and can easily double over and excessive rub the base of the thumb. It can cause a thumb pinch and if nothing else gets you to drop your concentration while messing with it. I've decided after my second workout to simply cut this part off completely. The upper part of the thumb on the glove has a pocket for ease of removal anyway, so it won't be a big deal. This would have been a great feature if they had put the leather pull pad on the TOP of the thumb vice on the BOTTOM. That would be my major recommendation for a change to this glove.2. There are two little plastic triangles on the inner side edge of the gloves (visible in the picture) that only serve the purpose of holding the two gloves together if you want to do that. Perhaps they make it easier to hang up the pair in a store. They only get in the way at the gym, so I've removed those as well. They really are not needed.Overall I'm happy and impressed. I'll only make the minor alterations I mentioned above. I would give it 5 stars overall, but I will need time to adequately check out how the stitching and padding holds up.Update: I've used these gloves for over 4 months now, and they are still in great shape. I would have gone through at least one pair of Harbinger Classics by now. I have increased my review from 4 to 5 stars because of the durability. I could probably go a full year with this pair, but I'll order another on two months and use that as my primary heavy-day gloves, and the older pair for my light-day gloves. I highly recommend them if you need wrist support.Update 2: I've used these gloves for just over 7 months now, and the wear is starting to take its toll. Seams at the bottom of the palm of one glove have opened up, and a seam along the inside of the opposite glove has opened up as well. I'm probably going to give the another month, then re-order a new pair. They claim they last a full year, but I'm seeing about 8 months. Still, that's better than anything else I have ever had, so I will go for another pair. Still 5 stars in terms of performance in my opinion.

True Grip
Bought the Elite leather gym gloves because of sale price and the padding in my old gloves had worn out to the point of feeling the bar with pain on heavy lifting. These gloves are well made and with the pull off straps makes it easy to take off. I used the measurements chart that said XL large maximum 9.5 inches in circumference. I have been lifting a long time since a teenager and still at 71 and arthritis has set in my hands and joints from wear and tear. The gloves made a big difference in my hands and wrists support. My fit was a little snug but will loosen with use. You don’t want your gloves too loose our you can get finger and palm soreness. I gave them 5 stars.

Best gloves I've used -- but could still be better
So, first off: these are definitely the best weightlifting gloves I've tried, bar none. They go on easy, come off easy, and yet are still very good at protecting your finger tendons when lifting heavy weights. They feel durable and are tight (which is good because it saves against blisters). The padding is nice and thick, and it will, as they promise, protect against hard calluses. Size-wise, I fell right between the M and L sizes -- I ordered the L as the guidelines suggested, and they are still correctly tight without any sliding around. I don't regret the purchase despite being more expensive than other gloves -- they have a good value.OK, that's the good news. The thing is, they could be even better. First off, you *cannot* wear a fitness watch when wearing these -- it just won't fit. In this day and age, that's a big problem -- so I will only wear these for my heaviest weightlifting (bench presses, shrugs, and deadlifts) because of it. Second (and in my opinion an even worse problem) is that the glove padding is so thick that my two weaker fingers (ring finger and pinky) on each hand cannot grip all of the way and so cannot use their full strength, which means that I tend to actually lose my grip towards the end of a set when deadlifting. I wish those two fingers could have a thinner padding or, if that's not possible, that they were completely open in the glove to under the lowest knuckle since all they are really doing is stabilizing the weight most of the time. Instead, right now the padding just bunches up under those fingers, increasing the pressure at the lowest knuckle and actually blocking mobility. Third, I wish the grip surfaces palms were a bit more sticky -- as they are now, I don't think they add much to traction beyond just being helpful as more padding. But go ahead & buy them -- they are probably much better than what you are using now, and definitely worth the money.

Poor durability
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Expected better for the price. Started ripping apart from the seams just after 3 months of use. Needs better stiching. Unfortunate as it felt good while it lasted as briefly as it did.

Have you ordered yours yet?!
Yes order them💯Legitimately made with quality stitching and leather. Amazing to find any product in today's world of China made BS! Belive they are made by our local Boys on the east coast🫡 (Brooklyn, NY)Leather smells good, the XL fits perfectly (5ft 9in. 210lbs), the gloves are designed by someone or a group of people who were/are serious about their equipment.I could list all the perks but others already have done this for me in the reviews.Dont waste your money or time just invest into a pair or two of these each year...Im a 100% satisfied here in Indy!

Potentially causes acute skin abrasions due to rubbing related to fabric netting on the thumd
This generally a well made item however there is netting type fabric on the outer thumb area that caused a severe skin abrasion due to rubbing the skin off. There was no way to cover the area to keep the area protected. So,I had the switch to another glove.
