I generally like the cup. I was concerned the glass filter would not adequately keep tea leave out of the drink. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it does a really good job of filtering the leaves.Unfortunately the cup and filter are very thin. Every time I picked it up I was worried that I would break it; and by the end of the week my fear became reality. The filter slipped from my hand as I was picking it up--maybe about 6" off the table--and rim broke two places.The cup works really well with the electric coffee cup warmers so I will buy a replacement.

I love these style of glasses. It is a compromise between traditional Chinese tea brewing and American want it here and now. The only cons to these mugs are: 1. the slots are easily plugged when getting to the bottom of your lose tea stash; 2. They break easily. Despite the cons, the cool factor and ease of tea making is great!

Durable. I thought I would have broken this glass but nope. The only downfall is the slits are a little wide and sometimes my loose tea seeps through the filter holes.

The cup and lid are nicely made. The glass is a bit thinner than what I'd originally thought they would be.The "holes" or slits in the infuser worry me. The slits aren't smooth (pretty jagged and you can see cracks where the slits are) and I'm worried bits a glass will come off as the tea steeps. I will be returning this product. Overall this is a decent product. I'd use the cup and lid, but not the infuser. Since I purchased this (four sets) for the infuser, I'm going to be returning them.

i like that its low heat capacity means it does not absorb too much of the heat from the tea. however, glass strainer tends to clog, so better to use a fine mesh strainer.

Pay attention to the details in the description - the inner glass cup holds 12 ounces, not 16. I don't know why they call it a "16oz Single Wall Glass Cylinder Shape". Other than that, the inner glass cup is as described.

I still use the cup but have to be careful since the infuser sticks up and it is hard to tell if you are over filling the cup. But it really elegant and beautiful to see your tea as it brews.
