Worksd great for PS5
Yes this does work for PS5. You can save games and settings with this. The large capacity is perfect for a person with a large library of games. The installation was a breeze. Slide off the cover of your PS5 and you will see a port that accepts this memory stick. The stick plugs in to the device very easy. This is a must have if you a gamer. Well worth the money. Great Product.

Works PERFECT for PS5 at a great price.
I don't really understand the reviews from people saying they have trouble with the drive. I bought the 500 GB unit and have had zero issues. After formatting I got a read speed a little higher than 5300 MB/s, which is only slightly lower than the PS5's internal ssd. I tried several demanding PS5 games running off the drive without any issues. If there was a difference in loading times, I certainly didn't notice. (and anyone who thinks this might be an issue, keep in mind that the Xbox Series X/S has a quite a bit slower ssd than the PS5, and yet in real world performance on multiplatform games, they're usually identical or close to it.) One slight draw back is the write speed is lower than the internal ssd. So moving a game from the internal drive to the Corsair drive is super quick. But moving a game from the Corsair drive to the internal drive will be a bit slower. Not much, but you'll notice the speed difference. Still MUCH faster than transferring from an hdd. So all in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. Definitely recommend this drive for anyone who wants a boost in storage without breaking the bank.

Smooth installation, great performance
This was easy to install. Works extremely well with the PS5. Excellent speed as advertised. Glad we got the 2TB, will last a long while. Although its not officially licensed for ps5 , it offer a great value for the cost.
