I don’t know what is going on but this was not readable on kindle. The pages were chopped to pieces so you couldn’t actually read anything!!

Like the book it takes time to understand some of it but the word are graceful from the past.

This poem is a great read and the rhyme and format almost make it sing song. Still, the history of the poem is deep, and meaning hidden deserves a slow and meticulous attention. Easy to see why this poem is the choice text in so many mysteries...

Translation accuracy is questionable. Some of his quotes don’t make sense in English.

The Rubaiyat. Classic. Inexpensive, I can loan it and not worry if doesn't come back. Someone else is enjoying Omar's work.

Great verses, terrible layout. Text had obviously been downloaded and printed without being edited. Buy another edition.

was christmas present but too erudite for this particular person - too much annotation - my mistake! I have kept it instead. thank you.
