Wow - this is fun!
If you have never opened a bottle of Champagne with a sword, you are missing out on one of life’s small treasures. I don’t even really like Champaign, but I’m always available to cut the top of the bottle off.

always wanted to pop a c.bottle with a saber, now i can!
this saber is for the practice of opening a champagne bottle by sabering off the top if the bottle’s neck. there is no need for the saber to have any sharpness and therefore this one is a dull or blunt one; so don’t expect it to be.there are quite a few videos in youtube showing how to do it so i’ll leave it at that and just talk about the saber.this saber is sort enough to do the job but long enough to be called a sword/saber. using this in sabering off the c. bottle just makes the event more glamorous !the saber is nice and shiny with a wooden handle.i’ll need to shop for a stand for it so it can sit beside an jce cold champagne bottle next time host a party (hoping it will be soon).wear safety glasses and cut resistant gloves when doing this! safety first!hope this helps.

An inexpensive way to try this spiffy trick
This Resafy Champagne Saber With Wooden Box Champagne Knife Champagne Sword Champagne OpenerResafy Champagne Saber With Wooden Box Champagne Knife Champagne Sword Champagne Opener is a good solid choice for a Champagne Saber. Not as decorative nor as expensive as some, this is a great way to try out this fun trick. The trick of hitting the neck of a champagne bottle just so, at a angle, going up the side of the bottle is very cool and showy.Do not try it indoors or with anyone close by. Practice with some cheap stuff outdoors with a tarp and a first aid kit. Wear cut resistant gloves to start.

Well made; Giftable
This is my second champagne saber (both made by this company--Resafy). Both of them seem to be very well made. This one is a lot less expensive than the other one than I have. But for a gift or the occasional user, this one seems to make a lot of sense. It's sturdy and well made, but the price won't break the bank.If you're not sure about whether or not you want to become a champagne saber user, this is a great way to test it out. It's also collectible in the sense that it's unique and it looks nice.

Pop some bottles with style
The idea of using a sword to bust open a bottle of champagne is a fairly new concept to me, so please understand I am a novice still learning the fine art of bottle chopping. This champagne saber comes nicely packaged and very gift ready, because only a fool would open a bottle in a traditional manner after being introduced to this. Yes, that's right I may never open a bottle the old fashioned way ever again!I figured the best way to go about this would be to watch some YouTube tutorial videos, maybe even browse the web for historical facts about the champagne saber. Perhaps even treating myself to an expensive bottle of bubbly to celebrate with. But then I realized it was 9 PM and I just got home for work and I'm way to lazy to do all that so...Instead I opted purely for gut instincts and a $6 bottle of Brut that's been sitting in my kitchen for about 8 months. Good enough. No research, no practice...just me, a saber and a cheap bottle of bubbly. The saber has a nice wood finish, clean rivets, a nice handle guard to give it a subtle pirate feel and a very blunt blade. However this is for a glass bottle, not the jungle. The box also says something in French. I'm guessing it says "champagne saber" but I'm not French, and only drink Orangina occasionally.Once I positioned the bottle on my patio table and picked up the saber, I had a moment of zen. I was one with the blade and for that brief moment I struck the neck of the bottle, I was also one with the Brut. It's the small moments in life like this you learn to savor. One year ago I was scrambling to find toilet paper, now I'm sword fighting with glass bottles. If that's not triumph, I don't know what is.The end result was minor spillage, an amazing spectacle of alternative bottle opening and a small sip of Brut that made me realize why I never opened it 8 months ago.Truly an amazing tool for us sophisticated gentlemen 👍
