I love these filters. Stopped all my clogging issues with my yard sprayer. I am ordering a second one for the RV.Real brass fittings and the clear case is thick plastic. Zero worries about it holding the pressure.

Easy to assemble and attatch to washer faucet. Seems to be filering well sediment and pipe rust fragments okay. Everything plastic but attachments to faucet and washer hose. I checked reviews on similar items so knew to tighten bowl by threaded top, not bowl. I did get a small drip on hose end and will be adding another gasket to see if it helps; I just turn off water when not doing laundry. For me it works okay. It is too large to fit behind my washer as it is in a closet so it is attached to the faucet. Beats crawling on top of washer & dryer to get at cold water hose connection and clean screen for every load.

I use these because our water for watering outside comes from the river…lots of sand, dirt, & whatever that clogged my sprinklers rapidly. This is a life saver! I can easily unscrew this, clean it out right there at the spigot, & replace, then move my sprinklers! They last a long time. I bought this as a back up, none of the others stopped working or broke in 9 months of use, so far. I has a washer to make a good seal, some occasionally dribble, but very little. For the work & effort they save me, I have no complaints!

In less than 1 year, it broke. The product is not solid. The plastic easily broke.If it does, you will get serious water damage to your property. Absolutely not recommend to anybody.

We have hard water and I tried some other filters and weren’t happy with them. I ordered this one and am so glad I did. I don’t have to empty it for weeks.

I have some Orbit tripod sprinklers that came with washer screens with fine mesh. The problem was that our irrigation water comes from a river and has fine sediment. Too fine to impact the sprinklers, but was still caught by the washer screens and they had to be cleaned multiple times per day. These filters catch the coarser sediment that could potentially impact the sprinklers and I haven’t had to clean them with over a week of use.

Got the filter to remove sediments from our water, to avoid clogging the irrigation system.It worked for a few months, one day I noticed the water running off from a planter ... and the clear housing over the filter had a crack, water hissing out all over. This might have been going for a day. Not sure why it suddenly decided to break, it was neither hot or cold, just a normal sunny day 70F.I liked the filter, it definitely removed some sediments, it was visual satisfying to see how it works. But it lasted only a few months.
