They work if;
This is a pretty great product. They aren’t thin or weak as you might think, 1/4” thick metal flat bar that is coated in weather proof material. They have predrilled holes in them & work pretty good.I would suggest that you make sure you don’t have posts that are set in concrete because you won’t be able to get them into the ground as deep as they need to go. I had to modify one of them because of this, but I was a metal fabricator for a long time. So if you have concrete set posts? I would suggest buying ones that would be suitable for your needs.Besides that? I would recommend these to anyone who needs to fix a falling post. As a matter of fact, I already recommended them to a neighbor who has a few leaning posts.Hope this helps.

Easy to install
Very easy to install and it works. The Post is still holding the fence tight since i hammered down that stick.I'll order again. Thanks.

Great product.
Great product. Simple to install (I waited until after a rain to install). My post is now secure and not leaning at all. Had previously used a product that I had to take the post out of the ground and reinstall. I will never do that again. This product does the job.

Quick Fix
I have used post buddies for several years and they have saved me from having to completely replacing my fence posts for the time being. They are not a permanent fix but the make even a broken post stable and steady again.I am seeing them loosen over a couple of years. And they are not easy to drive into the ground but if you have a small sledgehammer, it will work.

Was skeptical due to it being narrow. Replacing the posts this weekend.
Was skeptical due to it being narrow. Needs to be wider. Only bought one set. Flimsy. Went in nice though. Replacing the posts this weekend.

Where have these been all my life
Had a 4x 6 gate post on my farm that cracked badly right at the cement. One of my horses got spooked and ran right through the latched gate, breaking the metal gate and leaving the post almost dangling. Installed these and the post is stronger than before. This is a 12 ft gate. Best farm purchase in years. You do have to supply your own screws. Easy to install.

Time, money, and labor saver
We had a gate fence post fail from rot and aging. Thought we would have to try and replace the post. Used two post buddy to secure the rotted post. I can’t believe how solid the post feels. No more swaying or movement. I didn’t think this would work because our post was surrounded by a concrete driveway. But the post buddy just barely fit in the space using a sledge hammer. Great product. Comes with a link to video. Also search YouTube for some tips. Like using a block of wood to keep the post buddy still for striking with hammer.

Works amazing
Had a post that was rotting and leaning quite a bit. I sledge hammered in the first post buddy and got it pretty deep and lined up straight with the post. Then I sledge hammered in the second post buddy, started at a 45 degree angle as the instructions tell you but I think the wood was so rotted, the post buddy stake kept going in at a 45 degree angle which required me to pull it out and re hammer it a few times. I still couldn't get it in correctly and wound up actually bending the post buddy stake a little bit to get try and get it lined up with the post, so I lost some potential sturdiness.Other then that, it worked amazing. I was about to spend $10,000+ to replace this whole fence because of this one post (and the rest of the fence was pretty old) but this small purchase easily added 5 years of life to my fence. Would recommend
