BIC4-Color 3+1 Ballpoint Pens and Pencil, Medium Point (1.0 mm), Assorted Colors, 1-Count Pack, Pens for School and Office Supplies

I grew up with the traditional 4-color Bic pen. I was excited to see this model with a mechanical pencil (the lesser used green color is replaced by the mechanical pencil). The pen ink colors are black, blue, and red. The mechanical pencil lead size is .07 mm (I grew up with and prefer the .05 mm lead size).Overall,, this is a good, solid device that you will find very handy. With it, I no longer have to carry a pen and a mechanical pencil as separate items in my pocket.

I love this pen because it has the multiple colors AND the pencil feature. I use it for work constantly and many co-workers keep eyeballing it so I have bought several over the last year in case it goes missing lol Works great and I like that it comes with the replacement lead and erasers. Solid choice for a work writing utensil

All I can say is congrats on your service, BIC R&D, but you've run yourselves out of a job. There are simply no more pen inventions left to be made.In all seriousness, I use this pen(cil) for everything at both work and home and have done so for half a decade, and I'll make sure they stick one in the breast pocket of my funeral jacket after the guests sign the logbook in whatever color they choose. Knowing how durable these pens are, it'll probably be the same one that's in my pocket right now. Literally every mechanical pencil or Sharpie that I've had clipped to my pocket has had the clip snap off, but not these babies. This plastic may as well have a steel core.My only gripe (forgive me, favorite pen!) is that the ink refills are not the same as the standard retractable refills you can get in bulk here on Amazon. They don't have the little wing-y thingies that spring-loaded pens need, leading to crowding at the base if you try to replace an empty with one of those. Sneaky BIC knows this and happily sells 4-packs of variety ink, like their "ink-in-plastic that's more valuable than unicorn blood" cousin HP does when my printer runs out of Cyan. No thanks! I am going to experiment with buying bulk BIC capped pens and cannibalizing the inkwells, as well as buying the retractable refills and just clipping off the little wing-y hangnails myself. I love you BIC, but only because this pen is a work of art, and not enough to sell my soul.

This BIC 4-Color 3+1 Pen is my absolute favorite! I’ve purchased it multiple times because it’s so convenient and versatile. The best part is the built-in pencil feature, which makes it perfect for quick notes, edits, and sketches. This is my emotional support pen and as such I own more than one. I love the convenience of having a pencil and a pen all in one. I just wish it had green ink instead of red.I love the way this writes and how it feels in my hand. Great for note taking.
