It's definitely a experience. Taste a bit like tree bark at first but gets better. Definitely a different texture from chewing gum. A bit like chewy candle wax.

Too little quantity to chewing

While this is not the kind of gum that I purchase on a regular basis, this gum is exactly what is advertised by the manufacture.It is extremely firm and not really “gummy” as you would expect chewing gum to be.It is very fresh, with the “best by” date well over a year away.If you’re looking for natural and earthy gum then this is the gum for you.

Original flavor doesn't last long but it tastes good, the pieces are small so I combine a couple of them in my mouth. A lot easier to chew and cheaper than the raw mastic gum. Only hard to chew in the beginning, but it becomes softer. Not bad.

Great gum, keeps its resistance. Doesnt turn into soft gooey mush after being chewed for too long. Good flavor, too.

I like the first few chews - it's got a pleasant cooling sensation in the mouth with a blast of initial sweetness. It's a stiffer gum than I'm used to - fully expected some sort of candy chiclet coating, but it's really just a hard piece of gum that softens a little as you chew on it. Like most gums, the flavor is most intense at the beginning and then it faces, leaving just the mechanical chewing process. Texture reminds me of chewing on beeswax, which some days I like, but most days I'm not in the mood for.I've never had mastic before, and it's...a very odd flavor, if I'm honest. It lingers in my mouth after I'm done with the gum. Not bad, but definitely not part of my usual flavor profiles.I personally won't be buying this again, but I imagine plenty of people will like this, as it really isn't like a traditional chewing gum in either flavor or texture, and sometimes you just want something to chew on. If you like chewing on beeswax honeycomb, you'll like the texture of this. It's also not very sticky, though if it gets mashed into a carpet, good luck.
