This is perfect to wear to show in when I want a nice buckle on my belt that isn't a championship buckle I won. Championship buckles are nice, but often too bulky or big on me (I am not quite 5'2" and 110# woman, or, a stick figure in cowboy boots!) I am really, really pleased with the size, shape, and engraved design on this belt buckle! I bought this one (oblong) buckle and the rectangle buckle for a change or for a lesson rider to show in (who definitely do not want to wear one of my championship barrel racing buckles to show a pleasure horse.) I am a happy cowgirl!

Bought this because I don't like flashy buckles. It was as expected and looks great without being gaudy!It is sturdy, but also lightweight...so it doesn't make your belt sag like a pewter buckle.It is a slant hook closure rather than a post, which is nice.The loop is sturdy and shows no sign of deforming after two weeks of hard use, but I would still like it to be a bit thicker.Great buckle for the money.

I am 5’2 at about 130lbs and this buckle looks very appropriately sized on me. It is elegant but not “flashy” which is exactly what I wanted for everyday wear. As far as quality, it seems good. I’ve worn it several times with no sign of wear.

This belt buckle is even better in person. It is nice and heavy (not overly heavy) and the stamping is nice and deep making this belt buckle appear way more expensive than what I paid for it (less than $20 all in). I'm 5'10 so I'm not a shrimp by any means and the buckle is a great size. Not too big and not too small. It would even work for man unless he wanted a buckle that was a large statement piece. Can't say enough about this belt buckle. If you are on the fence, jump off and buy this buckle. You won't be sorry.
