Merrick Grain Free Dry Dog Food Recipes, Turkey, 25 Pound

Feed dogs twice a day with Merrik's Grain Free Turkey. Dogs love it. We have 2 rescues - our lab/collie is about 8 years old and 50 lbs and the Boston Terrier/Whippet is a 1 year old puppy and is 25 pounds. We have used Merrik exclusively for them for about 2 years (obviously, the 1 year old has only been on it since she came to live with us).Its a bit pricer than Blue or other super-premium brands, but it has a lot more nutritional supplements that any other brands Ive found. The dogs seem to have a bit more spring in their playing, and their coats are shiner and softer that Ive ever seen before.Dont know how it tastes - not about to try it, but dogs seem to love it. They run to their bowls each time we feed them, and we have been using the same flavor for about 2 years.Recently it seems Merrik changed over to a smaller size kibble. We get ours via Amazon subscription so nothing changed in our repeating order. Nothing noted on the bag about New or Improved. Just saw the diff. Dogs dont care either way, they still gobble it down.

When my dog was diagnosed with Diabetes a few months back I had to change up his diet and upon doing some research Merrick seemed really good. We tried it and my dog loved it, it is healthy and had Glucosamine and Condroitin in it for his hip displacia. This combined with the paws joint and hip supplement has given my 11 yr old German Shepard his life back. This is well worth the money but you need a backup flavor as sometimes they are out of the one you picked. Also for Diabetic dogs you need to look at the labels because each of the flavors is different and some are healthier than others.

Our dogs used to be sick and have diarrhea a lot. We tried different foods, including grain-free and a few different flavors of this particular brand however, the symptoms continued until we finally stumbled across the Kahoots brand from Kahoots Pet Store. Since changing to Kahoots, are dogs stools are healthy and there is no more sickness. We threw our last, brand new, bag of Merricks in the trash. I'm sorry to say, I am very concerned about the making of many dog foods on the market since we have tried so many, expensive, brands.

Just started my 14-month old GSD on this dry food after she started refusing to eat the Science Diet food anymore. Not sure why as the dog loved it up until January, then turned her nose up at it. Time to transition to adult food anyway, so... She likes this food alot, so I'll stick with it and see how she does. I'd give this 5 stars except the kibble is WAY too small for a large dog like GSD's or big Labadors, etc. Science Diet has choice of small kibble or larger kibble (about 1/2 inch in size). Better for larger dogs as they must chew just a few at a time instead of wolfing mouthfuls of the little stuff, and then spitting/lchoking it out.

I have ordered probably 30 bags of this dog food brand. I’m shocked at the horrible quality of this food. It’s NOTHING LIKE THE PAST BAGS OF FOOD IN TEXTURE AND COLOR !! It’s all crumbly and is in in partial pieces. Nasty. I do not want to give it to my dog. I want a new fresh bag. LIKE ALL THE ONES BEFORE!! MY DOG JUST LOOKED AT IT. THERE GOES $60. Thanks

Well this stuff's expensive,but never in my life have I seen a dog go nuts for it. Usually I see my dog jump up and down for some wet food,but for dry food that's a whole different story. Highly recommend this if you have a picky dog

My dog is the pickiest eater. She is bored by food after a few weeks so we switch flavors each month. It's hard to find this flavor in the stores where I live and I'm glad Amazon carries it. She loved it. Still wanted a change at the end of the month but that's her fault and not the turkeys! Haha.

Would highly recommend checking out the coupons on other sites before purchasing. But I love this dog food it has kept my dogs coats shiny and they both have more energy. I love this dog food and i have compared it to make others around the same premium price point and found this one has the most natural ingredients and nutrient breakdown.

This is high end dog food and worth it. My dog loves it, especially the duck and sweet potato grain-free flavour. No more digestion problems.

Glad this product is available in Canada... My Pup has a sensitive stomach. He has no issues with Merrick goods.

I live in a condo and I wasn’t home to receive the package and they left it right by my door which I love!!!! None of this we’ll try again tomorrow.

My dog is picky about food and she likes this dog food. Only complaint I have is that the bag arrived ripped.
