Go to for cosplay
I wore these for a cosplay and they were awesome. The fabric is super soft yet durable and they were comfortable without falling down. Highly recommend.

Good quality!
I had to buy some of these because I was wearing Zori and needed Tabi so I didn't seem disrespectful, It was windy where I was going and cold and these were warm enough, however, it's not the socks fault or the seller it's my fault...I don't have small thighs and long story short, they kept rolling down my legs and I wound up having to safety pin them to some shorts I was wearing under the short Kimono I was wearing (Sorry if I'm wrong about the kimono thing, maybe it was a yukata...) I don't usually do good with wearing toe socks but these feel really comfortable, I forget that I'm wearing Tabi and not regular socks... So, these are good Tabi socks and they're warm if you get them on your leg all the way... I'm 5'1 and they went up to my thighs half way.

A true split toe and knee-high sock for those of us who aren't five foot tall.
I'm 5'11" and these sit right dead center of my knee. I love toe socks, but the splits are good enough to let me at least slip on flip-flops. I really dislike being barefoot and I hate ruining socks running around the house in sock feet. These are a great compromise and actually fit my lanky legs properly.

They stay up. very nice!
I've bought dozens of different types of socks. I have very wide legs and even bigger feet. These are the first socks that don't fall down to my ankles after working all day. I wish I could buy a 12 pack

Good (only type I could find)
Only thing I wish is that they were longer, as it only goes to the knee for me - make longer ones so I can have thigh highs plz

Good but needs to be longer
These are a nice comfortable material, but Id like for them to be longer. Theyre knee high on me not thigh high. If youre shorter then 5'6 these might be good for you.

Not For Me
I've never tried Tabi socks, and thought I'd give them a whirl. Pass.I don't like the feel of the split sock between my big toe and the others. They're not for me, but they might be for other people. What I can say I didn't like about this sock regardless of preference around the toe is that the toe pockets both had puckered seams at the outer edge that's visible even while stretched out on the foot and unattractive. The weight is pretty light which is good for warmer weathers where you might use sandals so that's a plus, but it feels to me like a pair of heavy store-brand tights from America's Top Discount Retailer. What I did like however is that despite these feeling like cheap overknees popular with Asian markets, they're more amenable to Western sizing. I've tried "thigh highs" that look and feel a lot like these that barely came up and acted like a tourniquet; these wore comfortably above the knee and were not overly snug. All in all, they're ok and slightly better and more size-inclusive than others in their class; however, the class these fall in by their workmanship and material quality do not justify the $11 price point. I would have expected these socks to be in the $6-8 range, $8 being a push.
