New Life Old Laptop
The battery brought this old laptop back to life. I use it all the time. Great product.

Permanently died within a week.
Worked well, for maybe a week. Average-good battery life, charged quick enough, and I was happy. Even included new rubber feet on the bottom, a nice touch.I left it plugged in when I went to class, and when I came back, my laptop was off. Okay, that's weird. I took off the charger, assuming it was charged by now, and it wouldn't turn on. I assumed it hadn't been charging, and put it back on the charger. Booted up fine, battery read as "? 96% 0:00", which means that the battery status was unknown, at 96%, and not charging or discharging. It's like my laptop rejected it. Pulled the charger out, and it dropped dead like I had no battery at allCouldn't get the battery to work after that. Pulling my laptop off the charger killed it instantly. Had to return it. I might give it another shot when my current one finally bites the dust (it's at about 50% capacity) but my experience with this product has not been good.I have the X230, which IS listed in the product title as of now. You may have better luck if you have an X220, as they're a bit more permissive with what batteries they'll accept.

So far, so good.
Bought this for an i5 16GB of RAM Lenovo X230 with an SSD.Battery info shows brand new original cells at 100% charge capacity! First discharge lasted about 7 hours of medium use (good amount of YT). Crazy impressed. If these batteries are as durable as they are capacious, this is a gold find.Should be calibrated at least once using Lenovo battery calibration program on Linux - look it up.

Lasted less than a year...
The battery worked well for about a year and then it stopped charging completely. See picture.

Charge up battery, then remove, but use laptop while plugged in, makes battery last longer...
Holds charge, when not plugged in, just do not over charge, remember to remove battery after charging fully!!!With a fully charged battery, you can use for about 6hr then remember to charge up, then remove, just use plugged in without battery....
