Q: How much oil do i squirt onto the blade without overdoing it? The instructions don't say.

I just run a bead of oil all the way around the blade. If you keep moving the oil dispenser you shouldn't get too much. Then run it for a few seconds to spread the oil and remove excess. I re-oil every five to ten minutes of run time.

Q: Could this cut dried bamboo stalks?

It just went through a 5 inch arborvitae’s limb with no problem.

Q: Does anyone know how to put the chain back on? I cleaned all the wood out now everytime i try to use it the chain comes out of alignment.

The first time I used the device the spring clip that holds the large washer and drive gear on the shaft came off. That allowed the washer to come off and fall on the ground, and it allows the drive gear to move on the shaft. This means the drive gear does not stay aligned with the chain bar. I sent it back for a refund. Check and make sure the drive gear is still secure on the shaft.
