These cups are great. The gel stays frozen for a few hours in a temperate room. I haven't tried outside in high heat, but I imagine you would get at least an hour. Much better than ice, and can keep drinks cold that you don't want iced. They look cute also. I do think they are pricey for what they are, but I bought them on steep discount.I read some reviews about the bottoms busting out or bulging and it worried me, but I've had no issues freezing them repeatedly. I have used them and refrozen them several times. I am wondering if people are freezing them wrong. You freeze them UPSIDEDOWN.The set I got came in plain brown bulk packaging with no instructions, but I noticed online that when you buy these in a store they come in nice glossy white rack packaging. That led me to believe the glossy packaging probably comes with instructions. My plain brown bulk packaging did not. I went to the company's website and saw directions for use that say place in the freezer upside down for white wine and in the refrigerator for red (but did not specify upside down in the refrigerator). I think people may be placing them in the freezer right side up since they don't have instructions, causing the gel to expand in the bottom of the cup - thereby warping or busting the plastic. If you avoid this and follow the manufacturers instructions (not provided in the box but available online), I believe you shouldn't have any problems. I sure haven't. The seller might want to consider adding this instruction to the listing.

The little bit of gel doesn't stay frozen for very long, long enough for the first glass if you're drinking and not sipping. The cup lasted a year with the majority of time being in the freezer and only occasional use before leaking - gel and wine.

Glasses do well with keeping wine chilly!! I would get two more and keep them on rotation in the evening to keep the wine cool all night. 2-3 glasses of wine are kept cold. A great purchase for your wife!

If you hate spilling your white wine or bubbly while your enjoying the pool or hot tub, this is cup is for you!A great value for the cost as you get two cups!No leaking whatsoever!This is a quality product that is also very attractive.I expect to get years of use out of these cup as they refrigerant seems to be of high performance material especially in the heat of the summer.And the great thing is, these seem to weight about the same as a normal stemless wine cup!

I bought this for my husband as a gift as he recently got into drinking wine. We were drinking wine out of drinking glasses so I knew we needed something more sophisticated (but not quite a wine glass). I found these cups and they are our favorite thing we have bought for wine drinking. We store them in the freezer and pull them out anytime we need a glass. It keeps our wine chilled for at least a few hours. The grip makes it easy to hold and not cold. Plus they come with lids you can close so you don't accidently spill or bugs don't go inside during the summer. Not sure how long these are supposed to last but they are not that durable. I knew to never put them in the washer, but no everyone in my family did. So of course they were ruined. So I bought a second set. After a while the gel inside leaked out. They are an "ehh"

These are always perfect. Nice and chilled for your wine to bring down to the pool.

Bought these for a boat and they immediately aren't cold in the sun and the tops don't stay shut so if you are on a bumpy boat, your drink spills all over. I should add it is your WARM drink that spills during bumps. This is the biggest waste of money ever on amazon.

Product is I suspect returned goods with no original packaging. Bought as a gift which can't be given as it looks like I have bought it from a car boot sale. Terrible. No way of verifying if this is even an original product. Had to return and purchase elsewhere. Avoid!Would give zero of I could.

Now I get to enjoy my beverage cold even by the pool on a hot day.So practical, so smart. Great investment.
