My cat loves these toys
My cat is an indoor only cat. He does not roam freely outside. He is leash/harness trained and does have a large, fully enclosed, screened-in outside "catio" where he can safely enjoy the fresh air outdoors, in nice weather. He can also be with us outside, (supervised) on a long tie-out and harness. He's a great traveler. He happily goes right into his carrier and rides contently in a vehicle. He gets lot's of exercise and mental enrichment during the warmer months because we go places, do lots of outdoor activities and go camping a lot. He loves to go along. He can spend all day with us, on his leash going for a hike, or on his harness and tie out, in the campsite, watching all that goes on around him. At night, he sleeps with us inside the RV. He has a very large size Dog kennel, that his litter box, bed and water bowl will fit in with room to spare. However; during the colder, rainy months, none of us are able to spend as much time outdoors. He has two large baskets full of "safe" toys he can pull out, toss around and chase. He also has several activity toys with balls that roll around in a track, that are meant to encourage him to be more active. However, being a cat, he's also quite content to eat, nap, sit in a window watching birds and squirrels outside, eat and nap some more. When it's not so pleasant to be active outside, I try to find other ways to make sure he still gets activity and exercise. I'm always on the lookout for toys that I think he'll actively play with and I like to spend extra time with him daily, playing. These wands with the furry "caterpillars" and "feathers" attachments were a big hit with him. I like the way the metal wands are sturdy and telescope out to become longer. They collapse again afterwards to become shorter so they easily fit into a drawer. These are fun toys that seem to really entice my cat to run, chase, jump and pounce. We enjoy a fun, active SUPERVISED play session at least once a day.IT'S IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Although these toys are well made, these are not toys that I would EVER leave with my cat to play with when unsupervised. Some cats do more chewing than others but you should ALWAYS SUPERVISE your cat's play with ANY toy that can be chewed up or that has strings, ribbons, feathers or anything else that a cat could chew off and swallow as this could be very dangerous and cause intestinal blockage. Long strings and cords can also be a strangulation hazard if your cat were to get them looped around his neck. Keep in mind though that, with almost any toy, you should always inspect all toys for damage, shredded parts, loose threads, fabric, stuffing, small pieces etc and discard any toy that has parts that could be swallowed. All that said, I consider these toys to be fun and safe when used with supervision and put safely away afterwards where the cat can't get to them. If you're looking for something to have some fun, energetic, interactive playtime with your kitty, these are great.

Best wand toys!
I love that these are safe for my cats. They are colorful and 2 different lengths. The shorter wand is like a smooth and good quality ribbon that doesn't fray. The longer wand appears to be a strip of a high quality t-shirt. They are light weight and easy to use with all ages of cats and people.I searched extensively for best wands to purchase. I didn't like the feathered wands because I was afraid that they would swallow the feathers.I don't know who enjoys them the most, me or my cats! 😀

Cats ARE CRAZY FOR THESE TOYS!!!
We purchased this for our three kittens since they seemed bored and were climbing the walls... Literally!! Amazon CAT WANDS to the rescue!!! These delightful, sturdy cat wands have collapsible poles (super cool feature for storage), come with multiple wands, interchangeable, tantalizing feathers, fuzzy worms, & soft ribbons for the kitties' enjoyment. Our kitties love these so much, they go to the closet door where we keep the box of toys and paw at it as if saying "IT'S TIME TO PLAY"!!We receive loads of laughs as the cats and kittens crouch, run, jump, twirl, flip, and chase the various array of toy designs. They become worn out after a 30 minute play session and are ready for naps... But as soon as they hear the jingle if the bells at the end.. they come running again--even if they are tired! One small issue we have to be careful of is the metal connectors that allow you to easily interchange the multiple toy heads. These flip clips, even though small, can cause injury to your pets mouth if you jerk it away to quickly once your pet had caught it in its mouth. This can cause the metal clip to take across your cat's mouth and cause potential... Injury.. if you jerk it away at the wtong time. One also would not want to flick the cat with the toy heads because of the bells that could injure them if hit roughly. This said, i would not allow small children to use them, or they may tear off the jingle Bell and try to eat it as they emulate their animal. This certainly won't keep me from allowing my cats the great enjoyment of this toy... But I'm careful to make sure others who might want to play this game with them have a light touch when flicking the ends...Again, it's all in the way you use it. You could injure yourself, another, or your animal if your get wild and crazy with the "trout fishing movements" one uses to tantalize the animal.Again... Even with the small possibly of injury... I still maintain:These are SUPER FANTASTICALLY AWESOME!!!And I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PURCHASE if YOU HAVE CATS, or dogs or other prey-loving animals, kept indoors.

Our cats love these!
Best inexpensive cat toys. Comes with 2. Our cats love to play with it and it helps get our one cat in the house at night since she hangs in our fenced yard. Most entertaining inexpensive cat toys we own.

Overall a good purchase for our kittens
The poles with the string is really the reason to get this. Our kittens love these and it's great for interactive play. Love that they have a hook on the end so you can really attach any toy you want to them. We tie the little cheap mice toys to the end by their tail for our smallest kitten since our older kitten has claimed all the feathers as his. We've had these for three months now and the string toy has broken. It was a bit awkward to play with and the pole was cheap but I imagine if you cat really liked it you could cut off the string and tie it to the other poles. The little fuzzy things were not interesting to either of our cats really but our older kitten loves the feathers and goes crazy any time we get out a new one. He will grab it and hide it away until he "kills it". The sturdier poles have lasted really well though the cats have managed to bite off the hook on one.Overall I recommend this sort of toy for any cat owner. This one in particular is a reasonable price and a pretty good starting toy kit.
