The one i have is 602053 , can I use this 602054 and does it come with the lock key

Sort of, the 602053 is just a different length of wire. Mine came with tool and silicon. I have actually purchase all three lengths and they all came with everything needed to install in an existing socket.

Yes it is LED. It has multiple colors and color modes as well.

What is the recommended depth to install these lights?

Not sure what’s recommended but mine are two-three & four feet deep. My first set lasted about 2 years I’m on the 2 nd set. They don’t seem to burn out but develop leaks that short the power out. Sooo probably the shallower the better.

Is it the same model of the light as the 602055 but with the shorter, 50ft cable?

Yea, it comes with a 30ft cable.
