I honestly did not have high hopes for this I thought I was going to get something really cheap but I was wrong the swords themselves are a little on the cheap side but they are so beautiful almost just like the pictures not as shiny of course but let me tell you I wasn't sure where the cap was it was hard for me to tell on the picture the handle of the swords are the cap so you are holding the "blade" to write with and you would never have expected it but the pen writes very nicely it is not one of the cheap ballpoint pens like I was expecting I am very satisfiedPS I bought this for my brother as a birthday present and had my sister show me on video chat she explaind to me in detail I seen her write with it and it is smooth I'm so happy about this

They look great and make great party favors. They can be a bit on the pointy side, so probably not the best for clumsy or very young children. Price point is great for what you get. Pens write just fine but they feel a little lightweight, so its not like a high quality pen or anything.

I threw my husband a D&D birthday party. I used these pens as the party favor for the guest to take home. Everyone loved them. They had play battles with them while they were playing D&D. We also found out that they are a high quality ink pen as well.

These are a neat novelty gift. These are made fully out of plastic so may only last a few months but if you are getting them for a child or as an inside joke with a friend (as I did) they are worth the money. If these pens do last longer than the cartridges they come with, they will take any standard gel refill as long as it has the small ridge/ledge around the top of the cartridge, which are fairly cheap.

These are super cool, but we bought them as favors for a sword-related birthday party and we got some random things in our set. One was just a straight up lil hammer....not a sword or anything similar. So, we will have to figure something else out because we can't have one kid get a random hammer....ha. But these were well priced.

Bought these as a party favor for a Lord of the Rings party and everyone loved them. They all have black ink and actually write super nice. Great purchase.

I really like how these pens write. The plastic breaks easily though. I accidentally stepped on one and it broke into pieces.
