Simpli Indian Healing Pure Bentonite Clay (16 OZ)

I am new to bentonite clay but I used this on my hair, scalp and face. It cleaned my hair very well and it stopped my itchy irritated scalp. I will use this regularly on my face as it made it feel so wonderful and smooth afterwards.. It was a little drying for my hair, but I may need to incorporate a good hot oil treatment into my routine. I don't think it's the product itself.

This stuff works great. I use it for my clients and it is really easy to mix. Really fine as well. I was debating about going the the usual Indian clay from the other seller on amazon, but I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. It works just as great. Probably better. Make sure you wash your face with warm water so your skin gets the best outcome of the product right before you use it. I add a little tea tree oil. Works great.

I would give a 5 stars but it when it starts to dry it makes my facial skin itch so much. But I must say that my skin is so soft and smooth after its been washed off. That issue is probably just my skin though I don't have sensitive skin.

I have heard many things about this clay. Item arrived quickly and undamaged. I like there's a safety seal on top, which is a plus. I honestly thought this was going to come already in a moist cream form, that I could just place on my face, however...it is not. It's powder, which turns out to be a bit inconvenient and messy. Now I gave 4 stars however, because I see and feel the difference of my face. My skin is smooth, and it controls oil a majority of the day....even in 100 degree weather! I also noticed an area I picked a bump(I know...bad), has healed up rather quickly, and is smooth again. The best part is knowing this is a natural product, and I can literally pronounce EVERYTHING written in the ingredients! Making this a permanent part of my beauty regimen....good bye to all those mainstream chemically-filled face products!

Preparation is a little bit of a hassle because the fine clay can get everywhere in the bathroom. However, it is well worth it once it is applied to the face. It makes the face feel cool and refreshed. Washing off the clay mixture is also bothersome because it is quite thick. I just like to jump in the shower and wash it off that way instead. The next day after I applied the clay mask I noticed my skin feeling softer and glowing. I'm hoping to reduce the size of my pores with this product so I'll continue to use it until I see any significant difference.
