Okay, so the "bottom line" except at the top is that any way you look at it these are a great value. Precisely machined and polished with not a rough or sharp edge to be found.So how do they do it at such low price? Actually, I don't know all of it, but my guess is a big aspect of the pricing is the fact that the buyer has to assemble each foot. For the price, NOT a big deal at all. Still, all told, between separating the "tangled" springs, peeling and sticking the rubber pads and then inserting the springs in the holes, it probably took 20 minutes. Once the springs are in the holes they feel very solid. For instance, I don't they fall out even if held upside down.As my picture shows, they look great, and I'm using them under a turntable that's around 25 lbs. I may take some springs out to see what works best, but as they are now, the sound great!

Fit perfect for my turntableI was able to even screw them on.I glued each side of the springs to the the top and base so everything is contained. Nice machined CNC metal, adds some class to the turntable

Used these little, well made risers to lift my Subwoofer off the carpet. They made a huge difference and now the LFE of the sub is much better. Less boom & much punchier. Being able to adjust how soft it firm you want them by removing some of the springs is great. Very happy with these!!
