Exactly what I wanted and needed. They are sturdy, and I believe, will last for years to come. They are not heavy; made out of a black mate metal that looks chic and in my opinion would look nice with any type decor.

Solid bookends. I don't have any complaints.I have a growing collection of large textbooks that is accumulating on my office desk and these have no problem keeping them secure. At first I was concerned that some of the larger textbooks (1,000+ pages) might tip the ends or cause them to slide but these are large metal bookends that have wide bases that sit under the books making it so that, essentially, the larger/heavier the book is the more stable the bookend.Stable + tasteful design = 5 stars from me.

These are lovely bookends. The tree shape is graceful. Guests have noticed them and complimented on them. They hold books perfectly well, like many others perhaps, but are the prettiest bookends.

These are surprisingly strong and quite attractive. They are resistant to scratches, for the most part, and do a good job of maintaining even heavy volumes in an appropriate upright position. They are also priced well for those on a budget, such as myself.

They really look nice! They are a little lightweight and they could have better traction on the bottom to keep them from sliding. But for the money I think they are a great buy.

I really like the delicate tree pattern and was glad to get something more than just a plain bookend for a good price!

Good sturdy construction and love the little tree design! The pads on bottom grip well and holds a good amount of books. The spiral notebooks don't stand up well and knocks over the bookends. Great for the rest of my book collection. Would definitely recommend them to all book lovers.

These bookends look exactly like the picture and work great.
