General Hydroponics GH2021 Azamax Antifeedant and Insect Growth Regulator, Quart

This is the only pesticide I've found that is safe to use on cannabis in the flower cycle and actually controls or eliminates spider mite infestations. I spray this stuff in a tank top and shorts it's so safe. The worst that's happened from skin contact is a minor irritation that doesn't stick around long after it's showered off. If you use this stuff right and don't miss any spots on the bottom or top of the leaves it will kill every single spider mite on the plant. I use a 5-5-5 day spraying cycle to make sure I get any new hatchlings or spots I missed. Azamax is still an effective killer for longer than 5 days so the overlap makes sure to kill mites before they can reproduce in about 8 days and gets all the eggs that hatch in about the same time frame. I inspected my plants before and after each spraying. Found a few living young adult mites before the second spraying, and no living mites before and after the third. I use a 2 gal Hudson sprayer on six 9' plants in 200 gal pots with a mix of 1 Tbsp per liter of water (strongest allowed) and the tip opened fairly wide where it's a spray not a mist. I make sure to drench the girls to dripping. Best time to spray is in the evening so you don't risk burning the leaves. Mites live underneath the leaves but will run to the tops or stalks of not applied to them as well. Azamax leaves a residue but works best as a contact killer. Spider mites are very hardy and will survive an incomplete application. I water the next morning because it makes them very thirsty. Last year it caused some serious burn and wilt when I didn't water. Try to avoid rinsing any off of the leaves when you do.It is safe to spray this on flowers within a few days of harvest but there will be some effect on their flavor. Try to give it at least a week, two is even better, to dissipate before harvest.

Finally something that works!!! I have tried SO many other things and my greenhouse plants were still getting infested and dying. 2 applications this season so far and things are looking great! A bit pricey, but it works-so money well spent. A little goes a long way.

With Azamax I can control orchid diseases caused by insects attack. It is a very good for prevention when the raining season is approaching. And also it control the development of new plagues.

I use this to control thrips which have plagued my orchid garden for years. I refuse to use any pesticides that may potentially hurt bees or other beneficial insects but the safer pesticide products are not very effective alone. Azamax is an antifeedant which weakens the thrips so the more natural pesticides can take care of the rest. One just needs to monitor carefully to catch those little nasties before they can gain a foothold. Azamax is expensive but has worked and worth the investment for me. Am enjoying beautiful blooms again.

This is the best organic pesticide ive ever come across and i have used it for many years now. Only issue i have with it is the price, but you get what you pay for usually. If you have a serious infestation i suggest using it like every other day as oppsed to once a week for general prevention. Even if you dont see any bugs i recommend this for a preventative measure at least once every ten days if not weekly. Works well in conjunction with diatomacious earth for soild gnats and smiliar pests.

With thorough weekly applications (remember to add a spreader/sticker) this relatively non-toxic substance will indeed control spider mites. Of course you must also pay attention to temperature and humidity issues, and maintain good general hygiene. From what I can gather so far it is so food safe you can use it the day of harvesting your foods. However I would not do that, and I limit it to roses, hard fruits like apples and citrus, hard veggies (like cucumbers and squash) and maybe tomatoes, given you wash them thoroughly. Also be careful not to hurt the bees, use this in the cool morning so it has time to dry before the bees start to come around. Also, I use a fish-oil-based spray on grassy areas near the garden, to further discourage the little buggers.

Makes bugs go bye bye. Tested on thrips, mites, and other pests. If you are going to spray away your money at least it does the job.
