💎 Grind smarter, not harder — precision meets durability!

Used this great tool to groove out the mortar between bricks.
I was very impressed how well this tool bit worked on mortar. Very fast removal rate and will probably last a long time since I see very little wear after use. I used this tool to groove out several areas on our patio to improve water drainage and now it drains perfectly. I was thinking we would have needed major work on our patio but now everything seems fine even after heavy rains. If you need this for pointing you will be very satisfied.

Helicopter
It took all my strength to hold onto my rotary tool at its lowest speed when this thing, on first start, took a bend and spun like a propeller. Imagine that at 3-5k RPMS. What did it do? It shook like jackhammer. The bit had a dark spot on it if memory serves. may have just been overlooked -- I didn't know any better. that thing got so close to hitting me while I adjusted my grip to shut the tool off. Would have absolutely shattered my finger. took an hour for the muscle spasms in my shoulders and arms to wear off. full body sweats.Up to you. I later found out that rotozip makes these bits, too. Fantastic for tuck-pointing and shaping tile, if they're safe.

Great for detail tile work
Amazing.I was expecting a couple of drill bits. That's not what these are. I should have noticed how far the diamonds go up the shaft but it's quite over half of it. AND THEY ARE BIG. Way bigger than I anticipated.I bought some different 1/4" tile bits and use these for detail work. Great piece of kit to add to your tile arsenal. Worth buying.I would def recommend.

Unbelievably Effective Tool For Drilling Mortar
I got these for use in replacing 40 year old mortar that had been degraded over time because of water coming off a poorly-designed roof line. I found it to be extremely effective in removing the mortar. However, the fact is that the mortar was in such bad shape that I was able to remove it using a flat blade screwdriver and hammer. However, the way I ended up doing the job should NOT detract from the effectiveness of this product. If I were removing mortar that was in somewhat better shape I would definitely have used it.

Outstanding
I have concrete in yard and the joints are very narrow trapping water and causing cracks. These were able to widem them with ease, I was amazed how well with a simple drill. I did it to a dozen channels and it's still very much like new. Pleasantly surprised. They are pretty wide so if you need thin grooves find a different size. Great value and you get two.

Both bits failed
These do not work in a router. After 2 secs the bit flew out of the router. This is at 23000 rpm’s. maybe something around 800 rpms is possible. very dangerous and I’m lucky i wasn’t injured

Work for awhile but good
They are good for soft mortar ( not concrete) . I am a tuck pointer . They will remove single bricks and hard to get corners . Little hard to control depth. I actually get the shorter ones for verticals For walls I have to keep pristine , instead of a grinder. No scarring or over cuts.5 stars for what they are . They do burn out . So use them sparingly.
