My 8 year old daughter loves making stop-motions, so she enjoyed reading about a character who makes them, and was inspired by the book to improve her own films. Even though the characters are all young teens, the story is still relatable enough to an 8 year old. My daughter strongly identified with Z’s personality and enjoyed this book!

I really liked the book "The Real Z". It was full of adventure! I really liked the way Z was determined and never gave up at CloudSong. It really took me to a whole new universe. That's how cool it was! I can't wait to read more of Jen's books!!!

Loved how personal and creative the story of Z was. I also loved learning more about film and what it takes to be successful at creating! Good inspiration!
