I sent this as a gift to a close friend who loves wedge wood and collects cups and saucers and she adored it. So delicate and gorgeous colours

While I think the set is beautiful, this will be the last time I purchase Wedgwood in the modern era. None of it is hand painted. It’s all done by machine. It’s sad to look closely at the lovely design, only to realize that no one’s ever touched it by hand. These items are not cheap in any way, so to see dot matrix shading on the leaves is horribly disappointing, imo. In future I will be doing all my purchases of bone china and porcelain from vintage sellers and shops. This was the first time I’d spent money like this on something so simple, I wanted to treat myself, to own something small and luxurious. But ultimately that method of painting the cups makes it all look cheap. That’s just my opinion and some may be more than happy—it’s not for me.

Wedgwood Harlequin Butterfly Bloom Teacup met my expectation for a quality product made by Wedgwood.Amazon shipped it with lots of padding and the packaging was well protected.The only reason I took 1 star off is that the color of Amazon's picture does not match the color of the actual product. The color looks more vibrate on amazon website. Luckily, the actual color of the cup set is still very classy though not as vibrant.

This is a beautiful Wedgwood teacup and saucer set. The colors are as pictured, and the weight and balance are spot on. The cup and saucer arrive in the gorgeous Wedgwood “hat box,” which is also display worthy.

Gift for Mom - shows much better in person, gift box it comes in is great. She absolutely loved it - the shape of the cup was what she comments on - not circle - sculpted.
