It is jam-packed with just enough details to get you started as a beginner, such as: basic anatomy, proportions, coloring, basic poses, clothing folds, etc. Just…do it! Stop what you’re doing and get this book ASAP! This was the book that I wish I had when I first began drawing. It has been hard to find literal “how to” books among the plethora of books that call themselves “how to draw” when they are just references for more advanced manga artists. This book is a useful reference for beginners and advanced alike. It will definitely have an esteemed place on my shelf.
