VoiceBooster Tie-Clip Microphone for VoiceBooster Voice Amplifiers by TK Products, LLC

I bought this and an Aker voice amplifier. The amplifier had it's own microphone, and I used both mikes. After a low number of uses the microphone that came with the unit stopped working, so I am glad that I did have this one. I haven't considered the value of this microphone too well, as now that I have the replacement one for the amplifier, I use that one because it's microphone can be more easily placed directly in front of my mouth for higher amplification.

Good knock around mike for doing outdoor guided tours. I prefer it to the flimsy headset mike which came with the Aker Portable amplifier unit. The headset sometimes slips off my head while talking which is real annoying. The clip on mic is more stable. Decent sound. The price was right. Fast, prompt delivery. I am satisfied.

I use the Aker 2200 with the head set mike which comes with it. I thought I would try the tie-clip microphone as it looks less noticeable. It did not work as advertised. I adjusted the location several times however I could not find a location to give me adequate volume. If I increased the volume (way passed what I would need for the headset) the speaker would squeal making the clip-on mike useless.Back to the headset and the clip-on is in a drawer --- too cheap to bother returning it.

Works fine if microphone is right in front of mouth, but does not pick up sound very well if head is turned away from mike.

The clip on mic does work, but does not pick up strong enough to be effective.

It doesn't pickup as well as I expected.

Good inexpensive item. Could have better pick up. When clipped on the collar, the amplification is intermittent and scratchy. Works great if held up to the mouth.
