Sakona Home New Mid Century Modern Television Console-Walnut Finish

I bought this to use as a media cabinet under my TV. It's pretty heavy duty MDF board with veneer and feels solid. It is very heavy and took about 3 hours to assemble. Overall a really good piece for the price!

3 hours to assemble. Exhausting. The drawers wouldn’t go in “gently” like instructions guide. A friend said they had to really force them in. That worked but they aren’t straight and don’t open/close smoothly. One drawer came damaged. The door won’t hang straight either. It’s adjusted as far as it will go. Now I have to unassemble and return. All that “fun” for $350. Too bad. It would have beautiful if not for all the gaps/uneven drawers.

I was surprised by how much I liked this once it arrived. When I ordered it, it was as a consolation prize because I didn't want to spend the money for my first choice piece - but I love this. The hardware is brassy but very subtle, the finish is a bit warmer than walnut - very true to the photo in my opinion. The backer boards are sturdy and attractive, and come together with screws instead of those little tack nails you often find. The drawers do stick just a bit, but seem to loosen up with use. Love, love, love this piece.

We love the fact that it fits right in and the walnut colour is great. Great for value. We got 2!

Pretty sturdy and works perfectly with my other decor. I changed the knobs and handles to gold and it makes it pop more. I’d recommend.

Updated: the company has promptly apologized and offered a full refund. I was super excited to receive this item. Unfortunately it came with a damaged and scratched piece #15 that’s completely missing the groove for the drawer, shelf #9 with a torn corner, and the large cabinet compartment side #5 that is missing the holes to be able to attach the above shelf. See photos. Also the back panels do not fit smoothly and need to be slightly adjusted. Currently waiting for my friend to help fix the above problems or the company to send replacement parts.

The first piece I lifted out of the box broke as I lifted it. Cheap, poor quality. Also, hundreds if not a thousand of those styrofoam particles like those pictured in my chubby hand come along with the pieces. You get to assemble and clean.
