Works great, very accurate
Very nice low cost 1/2 inch digital torque wrench. Nice operating range from 13-250 ft-lb makes it good for automotive work and other general use. It's very easy to use, I didn't have to look at the instructions at all to turn it on, set my desired torque, and change units between ft-lbs and newton meters. The display shows torque in both forward and reverse modes although the accuracy is higher in tightening mode. This digital torque wrench is a bit simpler than other models since it only has one LED when you get close to the preset torque but it's fine and it beeps at the same time making it easy to use in dark areas. I do wish the screen had a backlight, that's probably the only thing I wish it had.Overall build quality of the tool is very good. Sockets lock in place but release easily by pushing the release button. Handle is comfortable to hold and is long enough to use on high torque fasteners without too much struggle. The tool comes in a nice hard case and a certificate of calibration that shows it is 2% accurate or better at all ranges. I'm very happy with this tool at the current price point. There are nicer digital torque wrenches available but they are a lot more expensive and just slightly more accurate. This is fine for my home mechanic use and is a lot more convenient compared to a standard torque wrench.

Better than I hoped for
I got this for my husband. He has a Ford F350 and does most of the work on it himself, so this was a tool he really needed to get precise torque and prevent breaking or damaging the bolts. It arrives with directions and a calibration diagram and the batteries needed to use it. The print was very small but they are consice. The calibration was easy. The digital display is great. This is the first one he has had that was digital and he was impressed with the size of the display and the ease to read it.You can also set the lbs. of torque you want, and it beeps loudly to warn you that you have achieved that level. It is very sturdy and well built. It feels like like it will last for many years. To test it he checked the torque on the lugnuts on his other truck a Dodge Ram. Of all the lugnuts, 5 were not torqued correctly. It is great to be able to head off a possible catashtropy with a simple tool.We would buy this again.

Battery compartment problem
After changing out the batteries a few times for storage the cap fell apart and separated. I've had to rig it inorder for the tool to even come on. Because the battery connection isnt great it will shutoff mid torque or just as the reached torque beep sounds. Need a replacement cap and can't find any website for the manufacturer. It was great when it was working!

Looks well made. Large display of torque values. Accurate.
Overall a very nice torque wrench with a large range. The display is good sized. In my opinion most displays are too small. I had no problem reading the large numbers on this display. The values indicators are a bit of a different story. It can be a little difficult to see the settings displays for the various torque values if you do not have ideal lighting conditions.. They better than many other wrenches I have used but I would like to see them a bit larger. A backlight would be a welcome addition. Overall better than average display. As far as accuracy, I found this wrench to be very accurate. I tested it on two bench mounted torque testers, a Snap-On and a Proto. It was within a couple of tenths on each test. All readings were well within the stated accuracy of this wrench. The audible guide worked well.Mechanically the wrench worked very well. The fit and finish is very good. The grip was comfortable. It seems like a very good value for the money.

Good but could be improved
It works as it should. A few things i do not enjoy is the program function. It is not very intuitive so it takes getting used to. also something that is actually very annoying is the torque reading vanishes after it beeps. So if you are out of position and cannot see the reading when it beeps, then you wont know exactly what it was torqued at. Other than that, physically its robust and well made.

Excellent digital torque wrench
The Digital Torque Wrench 1/2" Drive, 12.5-250 ft.-lb./17-340 N.m., Electronic Torque Wrench with Buzzer and LED Flash Notification, ±2% CW Torque Accuracy with Certificate of Calibration is an excellent package. I have been looking for a reasonably priced ½” drive torque wrench for some time. This torque wrench appears to be a quality build. It comes in a rugged plastic case and includes instructions and batteries. The torque is easy to set by pushing the up and down arrows. Once the torque is set then just tighten until you hear the buzzer or see the red LED which starts at about 95% of desired torque. Sockets are securely held on the wrench and can be released with the push button. Torque can be set in any of four measurements kg-cm, N-m, in-lb and ft-lb. The wrench has a large LCD display which is not backlit. I am really happy with this torque wrench it is excellent for a home workshop.

Super handy to have in your tool box
If you work on cars a lot then this is definitely super handy to have! The readout on the screen is clear and easy to read and you can adjust it to your desired unit of measure. If you're working with bolts that have a specific amount of torque needed then this is a lot easier to use then the old style manual click torque wrenches. It feels very durable and sturdy and doesn't seem at all cheap and is a lot better value than a lot of bigger name brands and it works just as well as they do according to my husband lolIt's got a good weight to it but isn't too heavy if you're using it for a minute, it feels good in your hand and isn't uncomfortable to use.Overall a great wrench and a good value. Definitely a must have for auto mechanics
