Nice book,great selections!
This is a superb book of poems by Lewis Carroll. I adore them and in my youth I could quote several of the peoms! I am enjoying looking at it in idle hours. The shipper, BTW, did a super job of srapping and sending. I appreciate it.

Poems to bring a smile to the worst of days
Nonsensical allegorical poems that make perfect sense in this day and age. Lewis Carroll wrote these as companions to his Alice's book series, they are fun to read and yet oh so enlightening. "The time has come the Walrus said to talk of many things: of shoes and ships and sealing wax and cabbages and kings" by Lewis CarrollHighly Recommended

I love this little book
I love the poems especially the Jabberwocky which is why I bought it. However during the shipping process (I think it was just too small compared to all my other books in the package) it was bent by one of the cardboard flaps and I had to do some re-enforcing with book tape to try to keep the book in at least good condition. I am curious though, if the poem was about a boy who had to slay the Jabberwocky, Why is there a girl, presumably, Alice that slays it? Is it just the time period where girls and women were second class and couldn't fathom being a heroine?

Inside the mind of a madman.
This book of small poems is great for young kids, and for adults who appreciate Carroll's writing. Young children can enjoy the stories told, and those of us who are old enough can appreciate what a crazy mind this man had. I adore Lewis Carroll, and this book of poems is a great addition to my collection of his work.

that I would really like to see the poem "Turtle Soup"
This is the kind of Kindle which you do not mind buying, even if you have most of its content in other Kindle and paper copies. It gives you the means of going directly to well known poems, Jabberwocky the most important, without having to search through Carroll's longer works. It just occurred to me, on looking at the contents, that I would really like to see the poem "Turtle Soup". If you are a Lewis Carroll fan, I recommend it. Note that it seemed to work a lot better on my PC than it did on my ancient Kindle DX.
