I said stop bleeding before I make you!
When you absolutely, positively, no foolin' need something to stop bleeding right the frack now get you one of these tourniquets. I was first introduced to these literal life savers while in active service and holy stop hemorrhaging are they awesome. I like to keep one of these beauties in each first aide kit I keep stashed around, and being an active outdoorsy person, I keep many. Might be thinking "Well yeah but when am I going to really need a tourniquet?" Lemme tell you, stuff happens. And for a decent price you can have you a super effective one with the little flap to write down the time it was applied. (Important to keep track of). The hook and loop strap is large and will hold secure over a willowy upper arm or a muscle-bound thigh. The tension wrench gets that sucker tighter still and then you just slide it into the keeper, secure the flap and make sure you note the time of application. Done and done.

Hope I never need it
It is exactly like the ones we used for paramedic work and will do the job if needed. I hope that day never comes but if and when it does I have the right tool for the job close at hand in my bag. I would recommend it to anyone needing one who is looking for a quality band for a low cost.

I am very pleased to have found this tourniquet and add it to ...
Making sure we have a well stocked first aid kit is important to me. We go hiking, camping and 4-wheeling often. We are very rarely close to any medical facilities. With that said, I am very pleased to have found this tourniquet and add it to the first aid kit. It is very easy to use and appears to be well made. Someone could actually use this themselves. Once on you turn the rod/stick attached and it tightens up to stop any bleeding. This is a must have, just hope it is never needed. Very happy with this purchase.

Must have in first aid kit
I ordered this as we ride ATV’s and a friend almost lost her hand last summer in an accident. I hope I never have to use this in a real situation, but with the simplicity of this I will feel comfortable if it’s ever needed.

Important addition to your bug-out bag!
These tourniquets from TIOVERY are an exact same one that our instructor showed us during our gun wound emergency aid seminar. Very strong and sturdy. Better have it and not need it than need it but don't have it! Good buy!

It works
This isn't a genuine Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) but I use it for training purposes. It does look like it would work in an emergency if you don't have the real deal.
