The FLM CP26-Travel Centerpod Carbon Tripod is lightweight and compact, with a high load-to-weight ratio - one of the strongest, most stable travel tripods in its class. A unique feature is the Anti-Shock Lock System. Tube diameter is 26mm in a 5-section leg arrangement. Ten-layer carbon fiber tube ensures maximum stability and support. Removable/reversible center column, and 180 degree leg rotation are standard. FLM uses a cork/rubber hybrid for their plates, heads and tripods.

Loving this
Being my first tripod I cannot really compare with others but i am loving it so far. Sturdy, well built, weights more than i imagine since my purpose is to go hiking with this and being light is important. But don’t get me wrong, still considered as light weight. Not complaining.

Built quality and customer service.
This might be a less known product/company by general population and average photographer but many of professionals secretly love it. Build quality is super (I wish it weighted less but of course less weight = less stability. This is a thin line). I carry this one when I go hiking and have another heavy duty one for every day use. The customer service is excellent. I tried to order from B&H and waited for a long time since it was backordered (still I think). I then contacted FLM Canada to try my luck. Surprisingly, I got response from Ari, their customer service dept. Not only I got a product in just a couple of weeks but same sale price (no tax too!) as B&H! Transection was very smooth. Everything is as promised. Very very happy with this company and their customer service dept. (Ari).
