Finger Braces, Trigger Finger Splints for Straightening, Mallet Finger and Broken Finger, Finger Straighteners Provide Support and Relieve Pain

I had pain in ma joint when moving my index finger. After several days, I decided to immobilize it. This worked perfectly. After several days the joint pain was gone and did not reppear. I even wore it a night; only took it off to shower or thoroughly wash my hands.

I have had "trigger finger" in my pointer finger for years, and it is complicated by anoher joint with bad arthritis in it. I have a choice between basically having surgery or wearing the brace for any relief at all. So I tried this brace as I had good luck with one similar to it which finally wore out.First impression of this brace: horrible rubber smell when removing it from the package. I am airing it out after wearing it as a test, and OH did it make my trigger finger feel so much better!!! I am glad I bought this brace. Now I wait for it to air out that strong smell. It is improving somewhat every day.Second impression: the velcro is odd, having the shortest "teeth" I've ever seen on this type of thing, They hold well, but I fear they will wear out fast. I guess that is something to discuss after I've used this brace for awhile, as they seem very grippy.Third impression: it is hard. I would feel a little better if it had some padding--even just a little. I can add a little padding by using a fabric bandaid, realizing how fast I'm going to be going through bandaids.This sounds like more of a negative review, but I really do like this brace. It's heck to have trigger finger as bad as I do, for as long, but I'm not willing to opt for surgery, And a less stiff brace would not work as well, so even with the hardness, it is still a great improvement over no brace. I have tried other braces, and this is the one I most prefer.The aluminum stay can be removed (carefully, with pliers) so it can be washed. If the rubber smell isn't gone by tomorrow, I will wash it, by hand, using Dawn or a soap that rinses clean, no residue. It will definitely air dry. I would not risk this in the washer or dryer

My right hand pinky finger (ring size 6) kept slipping out. Poor construction offers nothing actual support. Metal rod, not easy to mold.Don’t waste your money time or effort with this poor excuse of a finger brace

Slips from time to time but it got rid of my trigger finger.

This does secure the finger but it still can move.

Works good, it took me a couple times of adjusting especially when it was on my left hand and I was only using my right to put it on but I was able to get a good fit and it keeps my finger straight. I would recommend

While this was an ok brace it just didn't hold up very well. I broke my finger and need support for a good long term. About a month in it was coming apart and the middle of my hand was hurting due to the bottom half digging into my hand. It's a great idea just needs a little more work and a lot more support. It needs another strap to help strengthen the hold.
