Makes my flat, old-school sneakers feel like modern athletic shoes
For various reasons, old-fashioned, rubber-toe, canvas lace-up sneakers are my go-to footwear for 90% of my days. The shoes are easy to find, somewhat reasonably priced, and have that great rock-n-roll aesthetic. What they don't have is the arch support or energy return (cushy bounce) of modern athletic shoes. These Run-Active Comfort insoles mostly solve that problem, turning my old-timey gym shoes into something more curved to fit my foot and more supportive for the plus size body my feet have to carry around.I can't say how these would perform in dress shoes - they might be a little too thick and crowd the shoe. I can't say what they would do inside an actual modern running or athletic shoe - again, it might be too much to shove in there and still have room for a foot. For the classic canvas low-tops that I'm wearing, they are perfect.Have put them in all my pairs and been wearing them daily for about 3 months now; definitely can feel the change in pain relief in my feet and better endurance when going on long walks. Definitely recommending these, even for us plus-side folks.

Great inserts!
These inserts fit well in my wide NB shoes. They had more support in the arch than original inserts, it took me a day to get use to that, but are comfortable.

Replacement insoles
I recently purchased New Balance sneakers, and upon wearing the sneakers one time my feet hurt terribly. It is unfortunate these days sneakers lack support. I had purchased a generic brand of insoles but the arch was incorrect and they were too high and too wide. The Dr. Scholl's do fit and are not to high, too thick, or thin. I haven't worn the sneakers with the new insoles yet but think they may work for my foot problem. I have a significant bunion with pronation, metatarsal issues, and psoriatic arthritis foot pain and inflammation. In addition, the insoles did not fit in my Sketchers d'lite mules width wise, but fit in Sketchers premium sport wide width. I may get a pair for my slippers too.

Supported Balls of Feet
The Dr. Scholl's Sport massaging Gel insoles worked well for me after the balls of my feet seem to ache and be sore after playing tennis doubles. It seems that most insoles are specifically designed for plantar fasciitis, which I do not have, yet at least. The Dr. Scholl's insoles are made of rubber, which from a tennis activity perspective, seemed to do much better for the impact to the balls of my feet, as opposed to the FeelLife Orthotic insoles that I previously tried and bought on Amazon. The FeelLife's are made from multiple materials including foam, no rubber. So I'm thinking the rubber insoles are more for sports shoes. The Dr. Scholl's were less supportive in the arch and thinner than the FeelLife's. The FeelLife insoles are a bit thicker and do take up space in your shoes so you will need to remove the old, worn insoles. The FeelLife does have a better arch support, but they are specifically designed for plantar fasciitis. I'm keeping both insoles as the Dr. Scholl's will work best for tennis and the FeelLife insoles work well in my gym shoes as well as the everyday walking shoes. It's such a shame that you pay so much for a good pair of tennis shoes and the insoles are never descent.

Not for me
When I tell you these wrecked my leg. It must be the lift they give. Ive never had an insole cause me so many problems. Had to go get an adjustment and im still having issues. I have a high arch and was suffering with plantar facsimile and this was nooot for me. I really wanted them to work because they were so comfortable. š®āšØ

Good insole
These are a great alternative to expensive orthopedic insoles. They seem to last me about 3 month on daily wear, which i feel is not bad. Comfortable in the shoe and easy to fit with cutting the material.

Good for active lifestyles
I am very active and have several injuries to include Achilles and back problems. These are very comfortable and help the shock absorption. I have a pair in several different pairs of athletic shoes.
