Q: Where are the speakers made?

Klipsch designs and engineers all of our products in the United States. For more than 70 years, we have continued to proudly build many of our speakers lines at our factory in Hope, Arkansas This particular product was assembled in China. We assure you – it rocks!

Q: How does 2 Live Crew sound through these?

Although this bands repertoire is not on our normal speaker testing rotation, we feel confident that the 2 Live Crew will sound as good as the artist intended it to with RP-600M II if they are connected to a great amplifier/audio source! The speakers are very detailed and dynamic so you will hear all the intricate nuances and energy the artist has put into the record. Thanks :)!

Q: Is there any significant sound/listening difference for lr in ht between these and former model 600m which you can still buy at lower price?

From our Klipsch experts at ListenUp: Yes! There is a significant sound difference between the RP-600M II and the former model. The new RP-600M II has new drivers (the sound sounds deeper and more refined. Way more of a HiFi sound than the previous generation). Klipsch also upped the internal bracing in these. Less resonance internally. When we first set them up, we had some people asking where the subwoofer was. It's a more refined version. Between the original and the RP II, we're definitely recommending the RP-600M II. It's more of a speaker that you'll purchase and be happy with for years to come.

Q: Would these work well behind my couch on stands in my home theater set up?

They should! They work great for rear and side surround application.
