I’ve tried several other brands most were junk and I lost ammo . You WILL NOT loose any from this one ! It’s the best out there IMO! I’ve used mine chasing couse deer in AZ in very demanding terrain it’s worked flawlessly! I will be buying one for every rifle I own !

Perfect fit, strong velcro and elastic for holding shells - even big 3.5" Turkey loads.

A shell holder that prevents my daughter from loosing good ammo while trekking through the hills and the woods. The shell holder she was using let the round slip out the bottom. don't have to worry about that anymore. The Alpine shell holder might cost more than others but when you loose ammo that costs. Thanks for a great product.

As mentioned in the Questions section, the manufacturer says it will fit a "normal" size stock. I had intended it for a particular rifle with a Bell and Carlson stock but it does not fit as it tapers too quickly toward the grip/wrist. I have found that "Normal" does not include any of the 7 rifles I tried it on including a Garand which I thought for sure would be a common enough size. It would work well on something with a very tall comb like they illustrate in all their promotional photos. There just isn't enough adjustment to make it work on everything, and that is always the problem with a universal fit item. It is very well made. The side reinforcement stitching looks durable but limits how much the part can stretch.I'm also not a fan of turning my gun into a billboard advertisement. The company name is in three places including the inside and on a pull tag which are both nice. I didn't realize how much the outside writing would bother me, but it does.Obviously, given the 4 star review, I'm impressed with the quality even though it didn't fit anything I own. Hopefully they can take these suggestions and make a version that fits more stocks.

Fits great in my bolt action Savage. The sleeve opens up and uses Velcro to insure a good fit on just about any standard rifle stock. The sleeves that hold the shells, fit the .223 very nicely. Easy to get the shells in and out. There is a flap that covers the shells, which keeps them dry and is extra insurance that you don’t lose ammo.The only disadvantage of the design is that the flap that folds over the shells is held closed by Velcro. This could be a great disadvantage if you need a silent follow up shot. They need to use magnets instead of Velcro.All in all, it does what it does, very well. It fits well. It does not interfere with shooting. I will be buying a couple more for my shotgun and another hunting rifle. Highly recommended!
