Quite nearly perfect
An OEM look without an OEM price, and a high-quality camera too! Actual installation is easy - the front camera pops right into place in just a few minutes. The rear camera is also easy, just a little more involved - I'd highly suggest installing that in conjunction with "Rav4 lift gate lights" as the installation process is largely the same, feeding the line through the tailgate grommet for a virtually wireless-looking installation. Watch a few videos on installation before tackling it for some tips on hiding the wire along the interior seams and weather stripping. The reason it is *isn't* perfect (to me) is the WiFi for the camera wants to override the WiFi used to connect your phone to the nav system, so if you want a live view on your phone you'll have to switch between them. The camera also comes with a mini SD card reader that works on the phone, so if you need to review footage *now* just keep that in the car with you.

Best RAV4 Dash Cam - Actually Works
Got into an accident this past month and this dash cam saved me $$$$. I immediately got the SD card and FITCAM actually locked the video file into a separate folder. The dash cam footage was given to my insurance and the video was the deciding factor to find me not at-fault. This was the best investment for my now gone RAV4 :(Other than that this dash cam fit well and looks very OEM. None of my friends or family even noticed it was a dash cam. The back dash cam was OK but I think it only recorded sometimes or when you reverse? I wasn't 100% sure since the recording for the back was not consistently saved.I 100% recommend this dash cam.

Works great
Installation instructions are clear. Had a little difficulty snapping it into place but once installed works great

Very glitchy
The rear only records when it feels like it. I wish I had read the other reviews before buying. Expensive and unreliable. I am so irritated that I installed this in my new car and it doesn’t work correctly. Half the time the rear won’t record and the other half of the time the recording is pixeled out and unviewable.*Update* -Support reached out to me after I left this review offering a full refund. I replied I would like the refund. They then said they regretted offering it and refused to refund. They tried to troubleshoot and sent me broken links to downloads. This is an experience you should avoid. I absolutely regret buying this and altering my new car.

Good camera with relatively easy installation
Overall happy with the cameraVideos are good enough to show what happened. Style fits like it was originally part of the car.Installation is relatively easy.

Wide video, it’s okay
The video result is good and wide but in parking lot it does not record because their is no power when the car is off.

Excellent value, basically invisible, no issues.
I was glad to find the refurbished model, it was an excellent value. It took me about 30 minutes to get it installed. I think If I were to do it again, I could cut that time in half. The biggest issue I had was getting the cables sorted so they were not in the way. If I didn't the unit would unclick itself and slide down. But having the unit be basically hidden is really nice. No one can really tell if it is on or not because they don't usually see it. I liked that I didn't have to run additional cables or mess with the fuse box. It was very much plug and play.I wasn't blown away by the quality of the video nor have I gotten to try all of its features since mostly those are useful in the case of an accident. I have checked a couple of times to make sure it is still recording and overwriting like normal. I hadn't had any issues. I replaced the stock sd card with a higher storage, extreme model. So I can't speak on the quality of the original sd-card.

Better compability than OEM!
So I debated this product/brand on my 2022 Highlander XSE about a year ago, but opted for more expensive OEM Toyota Integrated Dashcam for that built in look and GPS/speed imprint on the video. Fast forward to now, I ordered the same OEM Toyota camera for my 2023 Rav 4, and was assured by Toyota it would fit. Well it didn't, so looked around online and found there is a common problem that since my new model does not have the factory autodimming mirror, the wiring harness to supply power does not exist at all. (I would have assumed was there but unused, but this was not the case). As ALOT of others online were in this situation, I decided to return it and go with the Fitcamx. I would say picture quality is same or better as factory, and no GPS/speed function, but I still think it's worth it for half the price. This one connects directly inline with the safety camera for power, which doesn't support parking mode, but I have a hybrid where your battery isn't really the same as a regular car and not worried about it. Toyota was literally scratching their heads about getting the factory camera to fit my car...if Fitcam can do it, why can't Toyota? There was no mention on their website or anywhere that the autodimming mirror was required. The app doesn't have alot of features, but it runs fast and streams better. The factory dash cam always takes a bit to navigate the menus and constantly buffers trying to preview video. Fitcam did not have this issue. About the only feature I would like to see added [which could be possible with firmware update?] would be the "adventure mode" the OEM had where when needed I could activate the audio/video recording on demand by hitting a button vs having to record audio all the time. (Some states may be illegal to record audio with passengers without their knowledge, and I would rather not have to take a dash cam video containing my singing to court if required lol). Right now, you can only take a photo or turn it off via button. The only real negative I can think of with the wifi is that wireless carplay constantly reconnects itself to its wifi, stealing the connection from the camera/app, if you don't temporarily disconnect your phone from radio. I think this is carplay's fault and not the Fitcam, but it's annoying, and may not happen to you anyway. Fitcamx for the win!
