Idk if 3d effect is worth extra $50
The media could not be loaded. This camera has a really sleek vibe to it. I like the marketing logo and the look of the three cameras. Even the presentation within the box is really luxury. It has a faux leather/scale design to match the black color scheme. It does not contain film or batteries but most of the cameras I’ve gotten don’t. It comes with an easy to read pamphlet of how to set everything up which is super helpful especially because I only add film every once in awhile. It also comes with a strap to attach to the camera if you choose to. I really love everything about the presentation of this camera. I think that quality wise (not being a professional photographer), it is built very similar to my $50 camera that I have. The main difference is that there are app features and I assume the presentation of the camera in the box. I will have to grab some film and use this a bit more before I can fully decide if the extra $50 is worth it (at least in a non-professional photographer perspective).

Can Get Costly but Worth It
Very good for a shutterbug that wants something different than a traditional camera. Yes, it's a bit of a novelty item as far as what it does. But that's what also makes it very giftable. My Wife quickly picked up on how to use it. The catch of course is that it does get costly to continue using it. But the end result is worth it as far as what it produces for you.

You don't need to be an expert to enjoy
I was worried that I wouldn't enjoy using this because I thought it would be complicated. It's not. They make it so easy to take pictures and turn them into gifs. My kids would make gifs but it always seemed like an intensive computer thing. This camera let's you take pictures of anything and then the app does all the work. I was a bit concerned about wether the free app would be suitable or if this was just a way to make more money with the paying app. My concern was unfounded. The premium app definitely has more features and I feel like it would be worth the low cost but the free app is perfectly capable of turning the pictures into "3D" images. The feature I personally found beneficial is the film. It uses normal, easy to find 35mm film. There's no additional cost or stress to order special film. They really do make it affordable, easy and fun to use.

Tricky to master, but a cute trick
Hard to frame exactly what you want without some real practice. Haven't tried the service that makes the gifs for you as if you get your negs scanned and emails and have a few skills you should be able to make these yourself. It's really cool when it works, but be prepared for only a few shots to turn out as you expect them to. Really fun little toy though.

Really hip looking camera that makes unique 3D-esque prints!
I love cameras like this. I've got a camera with a similar form factor that takes half frame images. Although they look similar, this RETO camera has an even better trick up its sleeve--it takes 3D-esque photos on 35mm film! Actually, you have to do the 'heavy lifting' yourself--it takes three photos with three different lenses and you have to stitch them together yourself. You can do this with the dedicated iOS/Android app or using one of many aftermarket solutions. It's just plastic, but feels fairly durable for what it is. Then again, it's not like many other cameras can do what this one can. Highly recommended!
