I’ve ordered three of these now! Needed waterproof enclosures for my Christmas light show controllers. These work perfectly! My only concern is the plastic snaps holding up to the cold weather. I hope they don’t get brittle and break. Time will tell. The included back plate for mounting equipment is awesome considering other brands charge extra for one.

This is a good quality weather tight box with a soft rubber like ring around the lid so that it seals when the lid is closed. The chassis plate in the bottom is of the same quality plastic as the rest of the box and is held in place with two screws with the option of securing it with two more. I am configuring this for a WIFI switch to be mounted in the attic. I chose the plastic or non metallic box so as not to have to have an external antenna. The box has four detachable mounting ears that attach to each rear corner and extend out from the corner to make mounting easy. Overall, great buy for the money and the next best thing to a metal container.

I purchased this to encase my outdoor sprinkler system controller and weather sensor. It came with everything I needed to mount the case to the wall, attach and install the sprinkler components inside the cabinet, and the gromets to run all the electrical wires through the casing and make it weather proof.The material is a solid plastic that is well made and thick enough to provide the protection I need. The only things that may have a longevity issue with harsh weather is the tabs that are used to latch the door to the casing. They're thinner plastic (hence the 4 stars) and I hope they don't get affected by the extreme hot and cold weather and become brittle and break off. I wish that these latches were metal clips to be more durable over the long haul. Time will tell...Overall, very happy with the purchase and how it works in my use case.

Two of these will be used outside, fully exposed to the elements. I needed an all weather enclosure that wouldn't break the bank for interconnecting low voltage wiring. They are very affordable and have hinged doors that snap lock. These doors will not see daily use by me that's for sure but at least the connectors will be accessible. You are not buying name brand "electrical trade" box construction with these, that is certain. I purchased them with their cost/quality in mind and I believe they will survive for my purposes.

Used this on my Jon boat to put my fuse panel in and mounted my switches to the outside of it. Water tight, enough space for all my wires to run to fuse panel and then to the switch panel. I also put the battery cut off on top of the box. Keeps everything compact and clean in my boat.

This box unfortunately does not keep all water out. I tested it for an hour under gently running water and a small amount of water got in (~ 1 mL). This is unacceptable for my electronics projects. The box needs extra latches on the sides to keep the edges from bowing up and ruining the seal.
