Excellent Tape for shielding guitar cavities. I just received this product a few days ago and have already shielded one of my guitars (Telecaster "copy"), due to issues with "hum"..... and this Copper tape absolutely stopped it. I am very happy with this product as I do occasional Luthier work for others, and many are purchasing "copies" of various types of guitars and bass guitars that are either Not shielded at all, or poorly done and the cheaper, open coil pickups, certainly don't help the situation any.So, if your having issue's with your guitar and noises that don't need to be there.... purchase yourself some of this quality copper tape, and you might be amazed at how easy it is to remedy some of the lower end guitar noise issue's.

I like using this for trim work.

It is conductive and makes for a easier wiring job on electric guitar with a lot less wires and keeps it looking way cleaner in the control cavity. Worth the time and effort.

I got this to shield a couple basses. It's not as thick as some that I have used, but it is easier to bend and maneuver. Plus, their is so much you can just double it up. The adhesive IS also conductive. There was no difference in resistance with my meter probes next to each other on a single section versus from the control cavity to the neck pickup cavity with multiple sections stuck together. I completely shieldd two 2 pickup basses and still have many yards left.

This copper tape is great. I like to use it to put on plastic handles so I don't get the extra microplastics and also copper is hygienic (antiviral).

I use this tape to copper the bottoms of my uss constitution tall ship model. This tape works very well. With the right cleaning fluids, well u got a museum piece, I also use it for electrical continuity , works very nice for that procedure. U get a lot of bang for ur buck. It goes a long way.

N my nexk of the woods the slugs have been out in force this summer (2025). I tried using crumpled tin foil on the tops of the plant pots. That helped but not enough. I read that 3” copper tape was recommended for slugs and so I added this tape to the base of my plant pots. Between the two my plants are once again flourishing and seem to remain slug-less. So- yes! I think this stuff works well against the damage that slugs can cause to your plants. I will likely be buying more…
