Both pieces stopped working after ten days, waste of money.
I purchased and it worked for iPhone but not for ipad, and stopped working after few days for iPhone.

Not reliable
Bought it to connect with Carplay. It keeps disconnecting while the car is running. Then. I had to buy a Type A to lighting data cable and it is working fine. This adapter is totally unreliable. Waste of money.

Uncommon female slot.
It has uncommon female slot so the charging cable of an android phone cannot be fitted into it. It is useless as converter from android to iPhone.
