Great for the price!
Works well! Relatively quick and painless. The healing part is what doesn't feel good. Don't forget to clean your ear with rubbing alcohol before and after and while it heals. Recommend doing one side at a time especially if you are doing more than one piercing on a side. Lots of plain piercing studs and a nice variety of some faux diamond studs after your ear heals!

So convenient!!!
I recommend getting this product, it will save you so much money!!! I did not get any allergic reaction so that’s a plus. And it’s a way better option than the $40 piercings at the mall. I only used it on my ears so I don’t know if it will work anywhere else, I do not plan to pierce anywhere else other than my ear so it works perfectly.

It works wonderfully if you do this:
The reviews that state they got the gun stuck or that it moved the earring puncturing the wrong spot did this wrong: they didn’t secure the piercing earring in the hole. How do you fix this? You have to put dental wax or putty in the earring holder, just enough to get the earring to stick to the hole securely so it’s not loosely wobbling around in the holder, because obviously, it’s going to drop with gravity and slump down unless you cushion / fill the gap that’s around the stud when inside the notch/ holder slot. For the reviews that claimed to get an ear infection: I have a strong nickel allergy. I have to use titanium/gold/sterling silver earrings OR use Claire’s ear care solution daily after the shower if I’m wearing anything other than titanium/gold/silver. Read further on how I managed this.I would suggest iodine to clean your ears instead of alcohol, or use Claire’s ear care solution vigorously. Get the biggest bottle. Here’s my experience:Yes, I got an infection. Yes, I knew I would, and did it anyways for the sake of saving $200. Worth it? YES. Why? Because I’m broke and want piercings, and bc the body heals, always, and I knew I’d only have to wear the piercing earrings (that trigger my skin inflammation and infection) for a few weeks (3 1/2 in my case -while eating healthy and drinking lots of organic teas). I used Claire’s ear care solution religiously, 3 or more times per day, and didn’t touch my earrings, didn’t rotate them (until after 2 weeks). In the past, (years ago) I pierced my left helix two or three times prior, using a horrible stupid sewing needle method, and it developed a bump or something and I let it heal up.Here’s how I successfully pierced my ears:I played with the gun before hand, properly & thoroughly testing the dynamics and analyzing all aspects of what could possibly go wrong, I successfully rigged up a way to use dental wax to secure the stud in the gun to lock its position so when it was shot forward or shook slightly with my shaky hand, it wouldn’t budge or wobble. I fixed it so it could stand alone in the earring holder slot perfectly straight, not slanted in any angle, and it could tolerate a little shaking without moving. My ears swole from the low quality earrings, (NOT 100% HYPOALLERGENIC btw, but I knew this) and I was worried they’d get worse but they were fine just in time for me to swap them out with quality screw back earrings.During the time the cheap piercing earrings were in:-ears swole slightly, hurt when touched, were very red occasionally-felt like my skin/body was corroding the metal in my ears-used Claire’s ear stuff (all day long just about) and it ended the above symptoms-continued the above steps for 3.5 weeks-took out earrings and they looked as the pics above look: the earrings that are gross were the ones in my ears, the golden ones are the quality screw backs I replaced them with, and the silver shiny one is what the original piercing earrings looked like before (when they were brand new, unused). Hope this helps!

THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL!
Don’t let the name fool you, this is not a professional way to pierce ears. I pierced mine, and my friends ears about 8 months ago and i have not had any issues with them at all. Please make sure you take the proper precautions to cleaning it before and after piercing. Do not keep the studs it gives you as a permanent piercing stud. And, i will add that the pain level is very minimal. It’s quick and easy to use. All depends on your pain tolerance.

It’s ok…
I had wanted to use this due to the fact I already spent over 100 on my now closed ear piercings. I just needed to open my piercings again. It did the job quite well. Some main important factors you should know- pain / wasn’t really painful just a little flinch. Afterwards you might experience a little pain, but that’s probably just the ear piercings process.- quick / I was very hesitant and scared to do it to myself, but it was a very quick process.- an issue / the earring kept getting stuck, it was kinda painful and censoring.-overall / it’s ok for the price.. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this as it’s probably not safe, but I didn’t want to go to a professional to spend another 100 dollars more. I also WOULDN'T recommend this especially for your nose AND tongue. Be cautious of what you’ll be using this for. This is the type of review I’d want, hopefully you find it useful:)

Best bang for your buck
The media could not be loaded. Ordered this item because I did not want to spend the money at a jeweler or a piercer to pierce me especially remembering that I used to do this myself when I was younger now I’m a bit older and I was a little weary so I bought the gun The gun arrived overnight, so I woke up this morning and it was here and I was eager to get some more additional holes in my ear so I can wear my gold jewelry. I started with my husband cause he asked if I wanted to test it on him first and he’s much more sensitive than I am and it went very smoothly you do have to pull on the earlobe in order to get it into the gun I found the earrings went through without any problems and then I put the rubber backing on. I prefer the rubber backing because they seem to stay better than the stainless steel ones that get sentThere are definitely plenty of supplies that come with this piercing gunThe instructions to use the gun are not printed out in front of you step-by-step, but you will figure it outAnd again, please remember you’re buying this for $9.99 so it’s worth every $9.99 because nowadays at the piercing shop they charge you minimally $25 just to put the hole in your ear and then you must purchase a earring which is minimally $30I would recommend this

Solid piercing gun. Not so solid earrings or studs.
Solid piercing gun, although all the jewelry it comes with you should not use to Pierce your ears. As they contain nickel and are not stainless steel just coated, your ears will get infected(from experience) bought it for the gun, would recommend just buying the piercing needles. For good jewelry buy titanium grade jewelry or go to Sally’s/ local piercing shop for jewelry and use that for the gun. There is not paint with the gun but the after due to it being an abrasive Pierce you will have a warm/irritated ear for a couple of days.
