Monoject Oral Syringe 3ml Clear - Box of 100

After figuring out that our vet charges $44 for 60 ml for our cat's medicine and I can get 473 ml for $7 in a regular pharmacy, I needed to purchase my own syringes since the people pharmacies do not have a long enough point to be able to push it into my cat's mouth. These syringes work well for her. However, like other reviewers have stated, it does leave some medicine in the long tip that is lost. For me, it's not a concern, since the entire bottle is only $7. The trade-off of having to purchase my own syringes with the cheaper bottle far outweighs the exorbitant cost the vet charges for this very common medicine. These syringes are so smooth gliding, that they can easily come out of the end, but it does make it easy to remove the 2 pieces and rinse them for reuse. Also, due to the long tip, you will have .2 ml of empty space at the top of the syringe between the medicine and the end. It does disappear the first time you push the medicine down. Overall, these are really nice syringes.Update: I can only rinse and reuse them a few times because the black stopper swells, making it impossible to push it down to expel the medicine into my cat's mouth. The ones from the vet can be rinsed and reused more times.

These are by far the best oral syringes I've used for my toddler, who has to have her medication three times a day.- The numbers do not rub off! This was my pet peeve with all other syringes.- The plunger moves smoothly, easy to grip and administer with one hand- Reuse them multiple times daily for at least two weeks before the plunger gets sticky- LOVE that they can rest upright because of the big round plunger- LOVE that they come with caps so that I can pre-fill a syringe for the next dose- The cylinder is not too wide for my daughter's mouth.The only thing I wonder is whether they could make the nozzle shorter so there isn't so much medication leftover in it, wasted. Seems to be nearly .25ml in there. Across a month that's about 22ml loss.

This is my second purchase for these syringes. My cat needs 2 types of oral medicine twice a day. When I pick up his medicine once a month the vet normally gives me 2 or 4 syringes, but due to one of the meds being very sticky the syringes last about 7-10 days before I have to throw them away. So I need to make sure I have enough syringes on hand for my cat. These are the same ones that my vet gives me. They fit in small bottles as well as large. However, you have to watch how far in you put the syringe in the large bottle. I have had the syringe drop in the bottle and then I have to fish it out. You also get the caps that fit on the ends to keep the liquid from coming out, however, I do not use those so I don't know how well they work. Overall, I'm satisfied with these syringes.

I bought this before and the tip was different they worked perfectly before in my sons feeding tube in the bigger port and now with the different tip I’m forced to use the little port which I don’t like to use

Ordered for daily meds for cat. Ones from vet get gummy after several uses, but when new work great. These are difficult to use, new out of the box! Very hard even getting plunger to draw back to load med, then takes forceful hard push to discharge med which is highly unwelcome when needing to deliver a swift smooth gentle delivery to kitties mouth. Have tried two with the same result. Additionally, they keep a large amount of liquid med in the tip, unusable. When measuring out drops...that is med that should be in my kitty, not left sitting in the syringe. Inexplicably awful product. Wanted to return them, but lucky me, no returns allowed so I am stuck with 98 worthless syringes.

Perfect for what I use them for.

I have been buying them for my cat for years, who needs six oral syringes a day. I wash them out with hot soapy water, rinse and reuse them. I get about three months or so use out of them, which I think is great given that I have to use them twice a day and seven days per week and one of his medication is sticky. They hold up well. I also like that the tip is a bit longer so it is easier for me to put it on the side of my cat's mouth without having to stick the entire syringe in his mouth. I would recommend them.

I needed these Oral Syringes to administer a compounded solution of Phenobarbital to one of our kitties with a brain tumor. These syringes made the process easier for the few months he had left with us. Pilling the kitty was not an option (even with the syringe pillers - he spit them out). The liquid compound of the pill is what worked best for him. This box of 100 units and caps was a great deal and made the process much easier.I would recommend them when you need a supply of fresh oral syringes. They work well and I got about 10 uses out of each syringe.
