AngelusAngelus Leather Dye, 3 oz, Gold

I discovered that my black shoes were actually white. No shoe polish would cover it so I looked to see if there was such a thing as shoe paint. Angelus showed up as one of the best choices. I had to get a paint stripper first, per the instructions and that’s when I found out for sure my shoes were actually white. I used that and then put the black die on. Cautions in that it is very thin liquid and fills up the little swab that comes with the bottle. So I had too much the first time and it ran everywhere. After that I made sure to get it less wet, but that first swab covered most of the shoe. YouTube video instructed to do about 4 coats so I just did one shoe, then the other, back and forth until done. The black is very shiny and they looked fantastic. The first coat covered all the white. I then applied a shiny top coat and people have asked if my shoes are actually patent. They aren’t, but that do have a very high shine. Look great. Don’t know how long it will last but I’ve worn them for a couple days (after letting them dry for 24 hours between die and top coat and again after top coat. They look great and the only scuff rubbed right off and shined again.

My husband needed new boots, they were only available in brown. So……We fixed that and they turned out really nice. Also made his golf shoes like new, he thought he needed a new pair bahahaha! Not any more. Thank you

I have a leather crossbody that I've been using for years. The color was fading in many spots from wear and had been looking in the stores and mall for dye. Found this on Amazon and the navy blue matched and it looks brand new!!! Totally recommend 👌

The dye was easy to use. The final product was perfect. I don’t know about the durability yet

I had a pair of mules that were cute, but I never liked the color. I decided they would get more wear if I dyed them black, but they seemed to be fake leather and I wasn’t sure how it would work. This product worked like a charm. Easy to apply, no smell, dried quickly and doesn’t come off on my feet. Win-win-win-win! I definitely recommend.

BE CAREFUL this stuff easily goes everywhere and is hard to clean up. BUT the color and coverage are fantastic. I used the maroon on a leather footstool that had been faded by the sun and the color turned out dark and luxurious and very even given the dark and light shades of the leather.

The color is really good and easy to use, the included dauber is great for it. But unless you have a bin for dip dying, it's hard to have a smooth color and takes a couple times to get it looking really good...which means that you get about one larger project or a couple small ones out of the bottle. The large is meaning more of something like a book cover or, maybe, an over the shoulder bag rather than the coat or boots, much less something like a long coat or saddle without needing multiples of it

Definitely is effective. Very hard to match to existing leather color. Leather dye tends to be very dark.

Great products, deep colors and penetration of material. I dyed Timberland Pro workboots and I'm surprised by the results. Dyed brown to black and after 3 months they look as if they were purchased that way. Dyed a canvas hat from tan to Angelus Jade another (hat and shoes) from tan/brown to Oxblood with great results. Used these dyes for years and will buy no other. They are awesome! Not just on leather (although I'm sure they don't recommend other uses) I dye all kinds of material with them.

Used on a guitar neck works great!

The box the dye comes in acts as holder to hold the bottle of dye, great feature. The dye itself is awesome, top of the line stuff. I used about an 1/8 of the bottle to dye the soles of a mens size 11 air force ones. Easy to work with, end result excellent.
