Very well built. Runs small through seat and thighs.
These things are built like a tank. Definitely not you’re cheaply-made stuff from elsewhere overseas. Seams are strong and well-stitched, material is a good combo of lightweight material and cordura on high-wear areas. Zippers pulls, pockets, and adjustable cuffs are nice. Even the belt loops, buttons, and waist are built well. The only issue I had was the fit..I’m 5’10”, 200 pounds with a muscular build and usually wear a size 34/35 waist. Amazon recommended I order an XL, so I did. They fit great around the waist and the length was good. However, they were very tight around the thighs and seat and through the crotch which would probably limit mobility, so I’m going to exchange them for an XXL. If you have chicken-legs, go with the XL. Sizing guidelines appear to be more of the European model. Hoping the XXL remedies this issue, because these are some really friggin’ nice hiking pants.

I love them
I bought a pair for myself and my girl. We both love them and they are durable, comfortable and versatile. The only thing I have noticed is that they don't work too well with the military quick release mesh belts. Just kinda hard to thread through the belt loops. If you have a normal standard belt, they are great. Too got for summer use, but great for cooler weather and I love the look. The OD green looks awesome in my opinion.

Briar and thorn proof
I have used these pants for early season upland hunting for a few weeks now. They are as good or better than any of the dedicated upland hunting pants that I have used. I spend a lot of time hiking off trail through thorns and brambles that will shred jeans, but these pants have held up very well. They are cool enough to hike in 80 degrees F weather, but I imagine that I will be able to use them in late fall with a pair of thermals underneath. I love the ventilation zippers and the sturdy pockets (although I do wish there was a second back pocket. My biggest complaint, and the reason for the four stars, is the fit. I had to go two sizes up from the recommendation in the fitting chart. I wear a 34 waist in jeans, but had to go up to an XXL in these pants to get a comfortable fit. They seem oddly small in the crotch area. Now that I have gone up two sizes, they are a little long, but otherwise fit well.

Great fit and durability
I’m surprised how much I have enjoyed these pants. The fit and comfort for me is excellent. As far as being ‘motorcycle pants’, maybe not as there can’t be great protection, but they are very comfortable on the bike or off and generally, very durable.

Need to update the size chart: Too tight!
According to RR’s size chart, and the men’s model indicating what size he is wearing, I should clearly be wearing a size M. I’m 5’11", 170 lbs. and ordered size M per the manufacturers recommendations. No, way! Too tight!!! Ended up giving away the size M as a Christmas present, and reordered a size L. For me, at 5’11” and weight fluctuating between 165-170 lbs, size L is a perfect fit. Light and comfortable for hiking around the Volcano and the Big Island. Mele Kalikimaka & Hauoli Makahiki Hou!!!

Excellent all around
Lightweight and durable. They look pretty sharp and can take a beating. Totally recommended item.

Well designed and durable
I just purchased my 3rd pair of these pants. They are very well made, comfortable, stretch in the places you need extra flexablity- love them. I am a finish carpenter. I do many tasks that often require kneeling and working on my knees. These pants have proven to be perfect for my line of work. The kneepad insert pockets are nice. On days when I have some time I need to be on my knees I will insert pads(not included) which are inexpensive. For longer days running baseboards I will use a bigger kneepad over the pants. I purchased my last two pairs last fall, and they have held up to many washes and some rough work conditions. These pants are worth the price.

Tight in the thighs (quads), otherwise probably great
I'm 5'6" 165 lbs athletic build, big(ish) butt and thighs. I normally wear 32 waist / 30 inseam jeans, so I was expecting the problem to be the long length noted in some of the other reviews (I was prepared to shorten them, as I do with most of my pants...).I tried a size Medium. However, the length was actually not bad, but I'm returning them because of the fit in the thigh area. The thighs (quads) are just too tight. Yes, I can move ok, but literally not a mm to spare. That's not how I like them to fit. With the vent zippers open, the fit is nearly perfect... but I don't want to always have the vents open.Fit of the waist was perfect - a tiny bit snug, but that would inevitably loosen up, and the elastic alleviates any issues. It feels like a 31 or 31.5, but with elastic so it's ok.Otherwise, upon first impression, the materials, construction, and design seem awesome. They seem light, tough in the right places, and flexible in the right places. I was looking for an alternative to Fjallraven Keb, and these were SOOOO CLOSE... but not quite due to the narrow thighs. Too bad.If you have more normal sized thighs (and not a background in weightlifting), these might work great for you.
