If you are buying these leaders its oblivious that your using a fly fishing line which also has a loop end!If this is your first time using loop ended line and leaders its important to make a proper connection between the fly-line and the leader that is solid. The end result should look like a square knot. I do like these leaders, easy to work with and so far not fails with the line strength.

Update: Seller reached out on their own to address my problem. That’s great customer service! Changing my rating higher to reflect excellent support!I bought these June ‘24 and fished in the fall. They were great. Now, just 9 months later they are all brittle and break easy. To cut cost they must have removed whatever it takes to make them age well. Have to cut back so much that they are no longer the length or weight (5W) I need. Stored these with all my other leaders and all the others are fine (for years actually). I lost 8 flies before figuring this out, which voids any savings. Leaders have gotten crazy expensive! Don’t waste money here.
