Easy to size
Overall, this is a pretty nice belt. It's made from nice material. It is very easy to size the belt by cutting off the extra that you don't need. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow for doing this. It's easy to kick down and hasn't slipped on me yet. I had to knock off 1 star because there is a minor mark on the front of the buckle similar to a scratch. Function wise, this is a very nice belt.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:LOVE the ratchet style! As described. Has held up so far. Will update if starts to tear etc. Good belt and great option for anyone looking for a 'between holes' fit!

Very adjustable, more than most belts
The release on the buckle is a little fiddly, but with practice I'll get used to it. I cut the belt a little long, just in case, and can cut more later if I want. The belt seems sturdy enough. The adjustment when using is finer than the usual belt loops, and easy to take in or out.

New favorite belt
I really enjoy using this belt, it's was easy to cut it to the right length with the measurements already being marked and attaching the belt bucket to it. The belt holds nicely and has a better adjustable range than normal belts with holes. The release lever is a little smaller but I haven't had any problems with it even after over tighten to just see. It also just looks really nice with most things I wear meaning I will be looking to get another one.

Great Belt, But the Release Mechanism Could Be Better
I really like ratchet-style belts, and this one is well-made and looks good. The leather is high-quality, and the belt feels durable. The automatic buckle is convenient and provides a perfect fit every time. However, I'm not a fan of this particular style of release mechanism. It works fine, but it's a bit outdated compared to the more modern lift-to-release buckles that are becoming more common. When I want my belt off fast, I don't like fumbling with a more difficult to find and operate release.

Excellent Quality, Very Impressive and Stylish Belt, Exceeded Expectations
The Hammonds Flycatcher men's ratchet belt came exquisitely packed with a fabric protective sheath to ensure the belt's safe transport. I was immediately impressed by the care and presentation that went into this belt, and the quality of the leather and buckle was awesome. The belt's genuine leather is a semi-flat carbon fiber textured exterior with a burnt orange and tan interior. It is made extremely well and has a decent thickness to it. The exterior leather is great quality, very durable, but still has a luxury feel to it.The belt's buckle is also very well constructed and has a good weight to it. The inside of the buckle is smooth matte black while the exterior is a semi-gloss carbon fiber interlace style. The buckle has glossy accents at its ends and really looks professional and stylish at the same time. You attach the buckle to the belt by way of an extremely strong clamp built into the interior of the buckle. After measuring it to the length I wanted, once I clamped it on, it doesn't slip and stays put. I was worried it might be able to slip or get pulled out, but it holds it exactly where you place it.The ratchet links on the inside of the belt give you a really good amount of adjustment length. After putting it on and pulling it to the length I wanted, I noticed the big difference in being able to make small adjustments compared to the big adjustments you must make with a traditional holed belt. It makes adjustment super quick and easy with a press of a button on the buckle. Just like the buckle clamp, the ratchet has a good hold and didn't slip out of where I adjusted it to. Overall, I am very pleased with it, it looks fantastic, is made well, and even came in a nice product box. Five Stars, excellent product!
