Very very impressed! I have an ikea ektorp chair and was sad to hear they discontinued it, replacing it with a similar chair. I purchased it years ago, now the nearest ikea is 200+ miles from me and i always want to travel to ikea to get the replacement chair but never get the chance. My covers were quite dirty and torn from the abuses of time and my 4 kids. The white was dark gray from years of their busy hands, the ottoman cover was torn completely in half, it was awfu!!! I kept it covered with blankets so i wouldnt have to look at it.Finally, i bit the bullet and purchased the chair cover only, to see if it would truly fit. I was skeptical as it wasnt made by ikea. However, i have to say this one is much better quality!!! Ikeas cover was held together with a very cheap sort of cobwebby type of fabric which absolutely disintegrated over the 8 years i owned the chair! When i went to remove it i lifted up the seatcushion to find literally nothing holding together the sides to the seat! The orginal cover was always a pain to remive/put on it was made so snug. I was pleased when this replacement cover went on so very easy even as it too fit tight when on. And ikeas disintegrating fabric undercushion on this replacement is made of a muslun-type sheet, so the fabric is real, much more substantial. So i changed out the ottoman too. So glad i finally scrubbed that disgusting but okd cover, I look like i have a new chair now and i dont have to use the gas or time to travel the great distance to get it. This was so much cheaper, easier and better replacement, highly recommendv

Purchased to cover my Ektorp Ikea chair and it is a perfect fit. The material is soft, thick and washable.

I have had the Ikea Extorp sectional and chair for over 15 years now. I purchased an extra slipcover for both when I originally bought them because they were so reasonably priced and you do need two.Over time both of the chair slipcovers ripped in the exact same place along the back, right above the arm. Of course Ikea does not make them any longer and I was not about to pay an eBay scalper an outrageous amount for a used one.Amazon and Hometown Market to the rescue ! The slipcover fits my old chair perfectly with a nice amount of roominess, unlike Ikea's torturous pulling and stretching even though I always hung them to dry. The fabric on this new cover is a slightly cooler white in tone and its not as heavyweight a cotton canvas but it is a fabulous close second substitute. I am delighted that I was able to upgrade my chair cover for $99, AND they are made in the USA. Thank you so much Hometown Market ! Now I just need to steam it as this was just out of the packaging.

Great alternative to and IKEA slipcover easy to put on thick quality easy to wash

This cover fits pretty snug, which I like! It makes cushions look fuller and fluffier. The fabric is not super high quality though, which is a little disappointing given the price.

I don’t usually write product reviews, but this slipcover absolutely deserves one. I’ve had this same Ektorp armchair/couch set for at least 12 years, and have gone through MANY slipcovers. We still love the furniture and were dismayed to find out that IKEA had discontinued the product line/slipcovers, because (with a handful of kids, dogs, cats, snow, mud, fireplace ash) we literally cannot keep furniture clean unless it’s slipcovered. We were starting to wonder if we’d finally have to replace our entire Ektorp set - but then I found these covers and OMG THESE ARE INCREDIBLE. Great fabric, very soft but also seems very sturdy (I’m a seamstress and am picky about fabric). The covers look high quality, and go on MUCH easier than the Ikea covers, due to a teeny bit of stretch in the fabric and a slightly generous cut. Color is definitely a lovely “jersey” gray but this isn’t jersey fabric. I started with the chair and have ordered the couch cover and ottoman covers as well. I’ve only added a few stars for durability because I’m not sure of that yet, but so far would give this cover a 100%.

I've had my Ikea Ektorp chairs for more than 15 years and the two sets of covers I had were washed out, worn out and looking very shabby. I searched to find new covers and after seeing the reviews decided to try these. What an amazing find! With just a hint of stretch, they went on like a dream with very few wrinkles right out of the packaging. Love the color and feel of the substantial fabric! Very nice, light grey. I had a family reunion yesterday and had so many compliments.
