It fit amazingly and looked super cool! It was easy to take off and on and the materials were of decently nice quality! It even washed well in a regular load! It was light weight but also kept me warm, and the coattails were very flowey.

It arrived pretty wrinkled and had to be ironed. I ordered Lg which is what my husband wears, and it was snug. He was able to snap close the vest but it was tight. Material is stiff which was good for this costume, but chose not to wash it afraid it might shrink. It was worn for a couple hours and didn’t get dirty thankfully! Husband is 6’ 195# and it was plenty long on him. It made the Virgil Earp costume!!

Bought this for a Halloween costume and it's just right for that purpose. Not really an regular wear piece, even if tails are part of you usual wardrobe.Coat and waistcoat are actually one piece to make up the breast port of the coat, and the front fasteners in the middle are snaps, not buttons. That works for me and the appearance is the important thing.Overall quality is pretty good for a costume piece, cloth weight is much better than a lot of other similar things, seams and fasteners look good, cut and shape feel and look right.I bought two sizes because I wasn't sure of fit. The medium was too small and the large fit just right. I'm 5'10", medium build.

I went back and forth on the sizing. Some reviews said to size down, others said it ran small. I decided to go with a small originally. I could squeeze into it, but would be extremely restricted in my movement, so I returned the small and got the medium, which what I would typically wear in clothing and it fit much better. I'm 5'8" 175lbs. I've got a small belly, so not a bean pole like some of the others that suggested to go to a small, and the belly was where the problem came. Again, I could have worn the small, and it might have looked nicer for costumes, but functionally, it would not work. I would have had to stand the entire time and feel a bit squeezed the whole time. The medium gives me a little more room to move, especially the arms and shoulders. The belly is still an little snug, but certainly manageable.

Considering this is less than $100, I think it is pretty awesome. The buttons are actual, sturdy metal. The fit and cut of the coat are really great. I wouldn't call it lightweight but I wouldn't call it heavy either. It falls pretty perfectly in the middle. I was able to wear it to a Halloween outdoor wedding in the midwest. I was definitely a little cold but it was tolerable. The only thing I would have done differently is order a size down. Men's large is usually just a little snug on me and I knew I needed to wear a shirt under this, but the XL was a little too big and looked frumpy. If you want a slimmer fit, be aware of that.

This coat easily became a constant rotation in my drag costumes. It's very nice, but not the most durable with the buttons. I've ripped them clean off of the fabric and have had to safety pin them before I figure out another option. That would have been a negative deal breaker if the jacket didn't look so freaking good on stage.I am 5'03" and over 200lbs and I did have to hem the sleeves to fit me better, and I have to wear 3in platforms to not step on the coat tails.

Great costume, sturdy, good quality and fits nicely. I would definitely recommend this costume.

This was much more than expected. The coat is really, I mean really nice. The fabric is thick and fits like a glove. It will require a good press, it is sent folded. The snaps are very good, not the small ones, they are hidden behind the buttons of the vest and the pockets are real functioning pockets, also with snaps. This is a really nice coat not what I expected, thought it would be like most costumes items...thin. I do have one small warning though. The tails are long and if you are short, as I am, they will be at the bottom of your shoes or in my case almost dragging on the ground. All-in-all I am very impressed. UPDATE- The COMICON was great and I received many compliments on the coat, also had a number of pictures taken by attendees. I was asked where I purchased it and the cost, most were surprised at the price. This was a good purchase and as Halloween is coming up it will be used once again. Happy Amazoning.
